My free summers are over. I had to spend half my vacation days in order to get to be at the summer camp I love so much. Totally worth it though! And I think I've gotten a permanent position at last, so work is going great apparently! So hapy :D:D:D

What do you mean by "many subject choices"? My college is just fragmented to hell and back as far as the computer sciences go, so I guess you can say the choices are pretty varied. xD;

And yeah, I was super stressed out a while ago because I thought (and knew pretty much for a fact) that I was going to fail one of my classes, but I passed it somehow by a miracle. I don't even know how considering I did nothing bout the midterm and the final and nothing else. But whatever, I'm not going to question it.

ew, exams. pretty good tbh, i graduated last week and i've been enjoying my summer for the most part. i disappeared so i could focus on my school work, i really wanted to finish strong and exempt my exams ha.

Thanks!! I decided I should actually start doing colourful themes to match both my username and usertitle (I even started making a rotating signature of creative stuff to match!). It's fun stuff. n.n

And I've been doing ok for the most part! You doing ok yourself? I'm actually going to start planning for my fall semester in college and seeing what courses I'm going to take and whatnot.

it's honestly just something that i've felt for a long time, so i decided to make a thread on it! I mean...maybe im just too much of an old fart here, but I remember back when I first joined this forum and a couple of years afterwards, although PC was....very different (for lack of a better way to put it), it was kind of easy to find a group of friends to fit in, and you would talk with them, and then you would get added to an MSN group convo with their friends, and things generally took off from there.

Nowadays, I will admit it is a lot more difficult. Of course, I'm not talking about fitting in as in conforming in a strict sense, but generally just making friends or standing out in some manner, which I feel has been fairly difficult for the past while. Now, this is partially my own fault; I'm by no means a social butterfly so maybe that has something to do with feeling isolated, but still...

I just feel envious of a lot of social groups around here and I kind of wish I felt "included" in one myself, in a way. Is that a bad thing? I'm not sure.

Well it usually goes well but I have quite long hair, so tangles are very common sadly. Yeah it's not really played in public view, though there's plenty on underground places where it's huge. A club near me has different rooms for different music tastes which I think is cool. Nooo that sucks, damn exams (but hope all goes well!) My friend lives in London for uni and this year alone she's gone to about 40 gigs, some quite big names.

Ah you gotta dig it out and play again! Love finding old games and having memory game day, makes appreciate all the new and faster game play (I didn't realise how slow the old Pokemon games were, I remember playing them when they first came out and thought it was top of the line)
Yeah it's nice, much better for people to easily fit in as some forums can feel quite uptight
