  • Those are sort of special cases I guess. Should we put in the request now or wait?
I like the name being RT better too. But we kinda have to not go with that anymore since all the other off topic sections reverted to other names =(
So, the name. Given that neither of us have come up with some alternative, should we just go back to D&D then?
half of my essay was spent explaining why american healthcare sucks. If you think American healthcare is anything close to a free market system, you are shitting yourself. Like its so bad single-payer outperforms it.

Just skimmed through it: ya I knew most of that xD

also I'm home sick today and it suucckksssss

especially cause i have an AP US History test and an AP Government and Politics test

I've spent so much time studying Supreme Court cases its ridiculous, but incredibly interesting. We got to study some major ones like Roe v Wade, Marbury v Madison, Mcculloch v Maryland, and others. Im disappointed we didnt have to study Gibbons v Ogden because that deals with the Commerce Clause, which we have been studying a lot in class. Most of the cases dealt with the 14th amendment, and in particular, its Due Process clause.
I think we dominate the conversation sometimes until we go back and forth so much we just die out haha. I think i get burnt out quicker tho. Im going to condense my next response for mine, yours, and everyone's sake xD

its kinda sad, but at the same time, its our fault.
true and jeez we literally quote each and every sentence and our posts are like half a freaking page lol. also i wont reply tonight most likely cause I'm super duper busy.

I mean, i understand why its more expensive: a bookstore has more overhead and has to pay to ship products into stores, maintain stores, and pay employees. Amazon really only pays for shipping I guess.

Bookstores are becoming the old video renting stores: out of business. ill bet when that day actually comes ill be able to buy a whole bunch of books for under $20 because the stores just want to get rid of their stock because its near worthless to them. At that point, its about gaining as much money as possible before going out rather than trying to profit.

ya probably. I prefer essay format because my mind isn't going in a thousand different directions lol
I am guilty of having only watched one episode of my contract show so far, but that's a combination of factors like time and simply not really watching a lot of anime in general right now.
meh i dont want to get into the argument because while at first glance, I would tend to agree, in the long term I think you are wrong depending on some stuff.

Out of curiosity, would you say that communism won the Cold War? Not the USSR in particular, but the actual ideology.

oh wow its only #10. somehow Fahrenheit 451 was more expensive and it was less than half the pages.

honestly, my bookstore is a rip-off. Amazon is always like $3-7 cheaper. But I find value in going into the store and buying a book. I just like the atmosphere and feeling, ya know? Unless I'm buying books in bulk, then ill sure as heck use Amazon because at that point the accumulated costs are too much.

Also I have an entire essay on healthcare. Idk if I should post it, but ya. Its pretty general and doesnt get deep too, but its solid enough I guess. The problem is, my topic was broad, so thats why it isn't perfect lol.

My position on the ACA doesnt really attack it individually, but really just the public-option system as a whole.

Im pretty apprehensive about adding the essay in, but I dont have the time to edit it either...
Tell that to the hundreds of millions ruthlessly murdered or enslaved in the 20th century by government.

perhaps ill purchase it. i have a gift card for the bookstore. That reminds me- i really only ever buy things with gift cards nowadays.
    the teacher is just crazy

1984 why are you still pro gun control again?

actually I've heard its an amazing book. i should read it but I'm not much into fiction nowadays. I've read Fahrenheit 451, which is a similar book.
well, i didnt have time to prepare for this. also I'm just not going to read 80 pages. its ridiculous and we haven't even gone over the chapters before those 80 pages. there is no way we could even cover it.

    what novel?
well ya, like living. and you need someone to help you live. you dont wanna literally live in your poop

i watched trumps inauguration in school
just wait until you are pooping in a diaper and then you will remember this conversation and you'll be like, "why didnt i listen to John Henry, woe is me."
