  • His Black and Black 2 Wedlockes really disappointed me, as he did so poorly compared to his Platinum run. I'm beginning to wonder if he can even complete challenges like this anymore, because failing his Y Wonderwedlocke and doing so poorly in his Omega Ruby Wedlocke is making me skeptical.

I was really saddened by Polarity's death, because that was the first shiny he encountered in one of his challenges, and it died to Cyrus, who has a lot of Pokemon that Magnezone could walk all over, because Houndoom is the only thing that isn't weak to one of Magnezone's types.

Ninjarisu really inspired me to use Pachirisu more, as it's one of the weakest Electric types in Platinum, but it managed to survive all the way. While I wish Firebutt or Starwing would've survived longer, it was still nice to see Ninjarisu survive for so long.
I was a big fan of his Platinum Nuzlocke. It was the series that got me into his videos, and he had a lot of memorable Pokemon, like Firebutt, Eggpie, and Polarity. The fact that he did so well with so many restrictions was just amazing.
Yeah, Route 119, not Route 120. My bad. x_x But still, yeah Gloom is there alright.

And the Personalocke stemmed from a Marriland forums user by the name of Heyis4Horses, who first jumped onto the scene a year ago with a Black Nuzlocke that disallowed bag items in battle or depositing Pokémon. For how tough BW are known to be, he was doing pretty good until after the eighth badge where he had massacre after massacre - one in Victory Road, one to the Elite Four, one (I kid you not) during training, and the last one against N and Ghetsis, but he still won. After that came his Platinum Personalocke, which, despite a decently low amount of deaths, still required him to strategize and plan his team well. The final team he went in with was very original, I must say - Golduck, Gliscor, Luxray, Drifloon, Lucario and Glalie (although that last one got no use in the final fights).

Another forum user there is in the middle of that same challenge on Platinum, while I have my first one on Black currently. I have already played quite a bit in advance from where i've posted, and I don't want to go too much into it yet but you'll see that stage soon enough.
So anyways, I've seen that you're a fan of Marriland. What series of his was your favorite, whether it be a challenge or a walkthrough?
Thank you Hika! It really means a lot coming from you, as you're always so eager to help users. :)
Lol. I won a Pokemon Tourney a couple years ago, and I had the choice between Porkchops (Tepig) or Awesomeness (Oshawott) obviously, I chose Oshawott, and I called him Captain Oshawott. And I gave him a little badge. I still have him today!
The elusive secret areas are no longer a secret to me now, yes. xD

It's such a surprise to see the new section when I woke up after staying up all night working on my assignments. Gives me strength for the morning. :P
That's still a great achievement for sure, Hikari. Do you have any upcoming goals or plans in the upcoming 4th year in here?
