I did actually get a couple ideas while brainstorming various things.

First thing that came to mind would be a 'Game Corner' like event. Similar to the "Sweet Time in PokéLand ~ The Trivia Frontier! " event.
You'd have a sign up thread, where you claim your Coin Case. (and if possible maybe css code that could be put in people's signature so that you'd have a coin case graphic that when hovered on reveals your coins). Posting would get you coins. If the VPP staff is willing you could put the mons that are normally in the game corner up as possible rewards, each with varying coin count requirements. Depending on event length/coins required, it would be a 1 or 2 VPP's max imo.
You could rank how many coins everyone gets for a leaderboard.

A second possible event idea would be a Safari Zone of sorts. You could have various tags to put on threads that either determine the area of the safari zone or which game's Safari Zone. Posting in the threads (either per post or per x amount of posts) would get you a 'capture chance' that you'd use in a dedicated Safari Zone thread. When someone posts for a 'capture chance' they'd link the threads their chance is from, then an event host/mod would roll a dice (or just use an rng site) to determine which pokemon from that safari zone/area is up for catching and posts a message for that mon, something along the lines of: 'Your Emerald Safari Zone encounter is Xatu, would you like to try and catch it?' The capture chance gets used up regardless.
If they say yes, you'd roll more dice/use an rng site again. If the number falls within a certain range, the mon is captured. If it falls outside it, it does not. Either way, the safari ball gets used.
There would also be a sign up thread where you get 30 safari balls. Safari Balls would not be replenish-able. Whoever catches the most mons in the Safari Zone is the winner of the event.
There is also a possibility for a VPP tie in here. Irrespective of how many mons caught, any one mon from those caught could potentially be claimed as a VPP at the end of the event.
You could also add Bait in. If someone wants it, they'd sacrifice a Safari Ball or two, but in exchange get a boost to the catching chance/range.

The above two are more Forum section events rather than something I could personally host though lol
For something I could host myself my brain goes to Spot the Difference or Who's that Pokemon. Was also thinking perhaps a 'Identify the pokemon cry', but think that might be too hard.

Not entirely sure what to picture for PokeTrivia events tbh. There were a couple games I tried out by creating them, that felt to me like they needed some kind of lure/reward to be attractive/interesting to people, I suppose those sort of games could potentially benefit. Not that huge of a fan of 'baiting' people in (if I can even call it that) though. I just tried to make some games that I'd personally enjoy and see how people felt about them, trying to let the game speak for itself ^.^

I don't mind giving it a try though if wanted. I've already been considering using a version of the Spot the difference game I made here for next years Get Together (mainly avoided making any games for the recent one as it was the first GT for me and I wanted to observe/participate first).

So far the trip has been pretty good, and I've already been to some amazing places, but... it was mostly spent on the road, as I tried to get to destination rather quickly and enjoy the trip back with less time constraints! I'll send pics when I can (although ngl, by using discord it's just easier to do so...) :fufu:
