  • Your fake pokemon game dream is so epic :D

    I have 5 generations of pokemon games i've made up now, but i never DREAMED UP any of them xD You're pretty amazing!

    Also, please befriend jackster. :) He's a really nice person.
    Wanna join my forum? I can pm you the link :) Just please don't share it with anyone. I don't want to get trolls again xD Thanks
    Oh well, I actually don't have any of the old DS's or any of my old pokemon games. I used to own all of them, but they were stolen. I pretty much only have a first generation 3DS, a copy of Omega Ruby, Moon, and soon Soul Silver.
    I've actually never played B2/W2, but I constantly hear praise over them. I might try to hunt down a cheap copy of that game online as well.

    Well I'm still looking forward to a new fresh experience in Soul Silver. My biggest concern is trying to figure out an efficient way to do breeding in the game. lol
    Gen 4? Awesome! What game are you playing?

    I think it's interesting you mention Generation 4 for a couple of reasons. Is it just me or are people getting generation 4 fever? I've read some posts from multiple people about them going back to generation 4 again. I myself have been feeling this way as well, yesterday I went online shopping and managed to find myself a used copy of Soul Silver at a really good price (I've actually been hunting down a copy of this game for a few months now), I ordered a copy for $20 and it's supposed to arrive in 1-2 weeks. I'm incredibly excited for it to get here, I haven't played the game in so long!

    Also, can you transfer pokemon from your Gen 4 games to Gen 6 or 7? If so, I had no idea you could do that and that makes me think maybe I will dish out for Pokebank just so I can do some Gen 4 transferring after I invest some more time in Soul Silver.
    Generation 7 is fine. I don't have Pokebank so I can't transfer my signature team, but that's fine by me, maybe some other time in the furture we can figure that out.
    In my copy of moon, I have a competitive team that functions fine, but it's not exactly my favorite because it's not really my most creative team (most of the pokemon builds for this team were lazily pulled off of Smogon).

    However I have a team I've been trying to pull together in Moon, it's a home brew team, and pretty interesting, but I only have the team halfway completed. I only have 3 of my 6 team members completed. I could definitely do a 3v3 with them, or I can just fill in the other 3 members from my boring competitive team.

    I also understand not always being around to play Pokemon and all that, recently I've been playing a couple other games instead of Pokemon plus life obviously just gets in the way of fun things frequently. By all means feel free to let me know about any particular days that work best for you. As I mentioned Sunday's and Mondays work best for me. I'm actually free to battle today at any time, so just let me know.
    No problem, are there specific days or times that are best for you? I personally am most active around around 9pm pacific, and I am pretty much free during most hours on Sundays and Mondays.

    Just curious, what is your preferred game to do battles on? My signature pokemon team is on Omega Ruby but I also have two pretty good competitive teams on Moon as well.
    Hey, just wanted to say, I really thought your post about your signature pokemon was awesome. I was also wondering if you would like to battle some time? I would love to see your team in action!
    Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary!
    I'm really glad to have a user like you back in A&D after a break. <3; Don't leave or I'll kill you, kay? :p
    You're very interesting, you know that? :3 You talk like an artist. I figured you had some sort of classical training! I've never taken formal classes, so I find people that have really fascinating.

    Ah yes, I can definitely relate to that. It was only a few years ago that I could only *ever* draw when I was almost or completely devoid of all sensation. Those were the worst of times, :p My forte is in comic books, so I guess when there's a story involved, it's a bit easier for me to translate images into my head onto the paper. Not to confuse "create" with "creative", however. I lack creativity in almost all regards. I'd be much better at drawing fruit if they'd actually get up and do something entertaining, you know? So I can definitely identify with your issue, at least to some respect.

    I find that the best remedy is time. ;( But, realistically, changing your major was probably a good choice if you're actually looking for employment. Nowadays, graphic design and subjects to that effect are the best way to make money and use your creative side. Especially if you have a talent for it! Which clearly you do if your gallery consists of nonsensical doodles that were for fun. I'd love to see what you're capable of when you really apply yourself.
    Hey, if you're drawing for yourself-- for fun, than who cares if you stick to what your good at?

    Unfortunately, I was blessed cursed with an insatiable appetite to learn. I love exploring new mediums and really pushing myself as an artist (but then again, my relationship with art is somewhat more occupational than recreational). I do believe, however, that despite procrastination being the staple of every artist, there's also a deep desire to create in its most pristine form. And as long as you have that, your style, your comfort zone, will evolve.

    Not to rant your head off after just befriending you lmao. But so long as you have *inspiration*, who cares about motivation? At the end of the day, all of us lazy artists will keep picking up the pencil. It's in our nature. :p The most important thing is that your having fun! Everything else will fall into place! n_n;
    No problem! I'm glad my little 2 cents could help! n_n <3;

    You definitely shouldn't doubt yourself as an artist though! Trust me, I know it's hard not to be your own worst critic or a perfectionist.. but, from one artist to another, your art (and crafts, those are incredible too) really stands on its own. You totally caught my attention! ;)
