well, actually i think it's a legendary opinion. in the episode where the articuno was with the guy, it was by the legendary pokemon's choice. i think if they battled using a legendary, it wouldn't really be theirs and i would cry out "no fair!" just before my poor weak pokemon were stomped into...

minotauros is the lamest thing you could name the evolution of tauros. now, i'm not saying that it doesn't sound cool to me, because it does. but at least take the original pokemon's name out of the evolution! also i am so confused about the placement of this thread but i am so glad it exists

i don't think they really show it much in the anime, but i think a lot of things in pokemon are registered. you have to register to be a trainer, pokemon are probably logged by professors [and in the pokedex] and when inserted into your 18 storage boxes [probably designated to your name]. trades...
