What was your starter pattern?

Yeah, have you noticed my pattern of starters from Ruby to Black?

Water, Fire, Grass, Fire, Water

My brother always chose Water starters when he played a Pokemon game.

This is what he chose so far:

Sapphire - Mudkip
Emerald - Mudkip
Diamond - Piplup
HeartGold - Totodile

He told me that once he gets White he will break the trend because he hates Oshawott.

He also told me he would use Snivy but I told him how terrible it is so I think he might choose Tepig.

This was my starter pattern:

Ruby - Mudkip
Pearl - Chimchar
Platinum - Turtwig
SoulSilver - Cyndaquil
Black - Oshawott

So that's 2 runs of Fire starter, 2 of Water starter and only 1 for Grass starter.
