Ahaha, yeah I'm aware. She generally only gets those kind of sweet/sad roles. It does feel refreshing, yes. And my stance is similar - as long it lets her have roles like these every once in a while, I'm okay with it.
Really though, tbh, if I'm to judge her based on her more regular roles, I much prefer work done by, say, Romi Park, Miyuki Sawashiro, Kugimiya Rie, Nana Mizuki or Koshimizu Ami. Although I guess that's more to do with my mind associating their voices with some of their powerful and signature roles. I don't remember HanaKana having any of those while I clearly associated Romi with Edward/Ragyo, Miyuki as Celty/Kanbaru, Kugimiya as Kagura, Nana as Ange and Ami as Ryuko as they just stand out so much to me.
