Reading this list, I got my 2 cents to deposit. The Pudong District does look like Isshu's left penisula. Truth be told though, Isshu's (一生) Chinese's meanings "one life", thus I'm sure in Kanji it should be the same. It could refer to the remote life of Isshu's people from the other regions...
