As long as people keep buying pokemon at the rate they do they'll keep making the game. I predict at least one more new generation, perhaps even two, then a reboot of the series? I dunno the games are stretching out pretty thin as is.

I'm surprised everyone loves the second generation of starters so much.

Pokemon is already a fairly easy game, using the walkthrough would kill the joy of playing it

I'll tell you right now to be wary of things refurbished. It's pretty hit or miss sometimes the product acts as brand spanking new and other times it's a ticking time bomb. I bought a refurbished desktop pc a few years back for dirt cheap and it lasted me a couple years but not without its share...

if you are just going to be bringing it to school for notes, surf the web and other little things like that sure. Don't expect it to play games or run that quickly though.

Widescreen has definitely grown on me. It was odd when I switched monitors from a 4:3 to 16:9 but now I can't really go back.

It shouldn't be too bad as long as you didn't download anything or accept any files from the person sending the virus link. The worst may be some malware or spyware infecting your temporary internet files.
