Yeah, I can imagine...the closer to the center of a city you are, the higher the housing costs tend to be; just getting an apartment is a dream, a mortgage is an impossibility unless you somehow win the lottery or something. Banks offer support or manageable deals (at least they do here) but you need a credit history you probably don't have and a fairly well-paid job, so in the end it's more cost effective to go with the apartment. Do you have any prospective apartments for when you find that job? :3

I'm...coping, I guess? Life goes on; had a rough couple of weeks because reasons, but much better at the moment. Finding a job that pays enough seems to be an eternal struggle, especially considering the cost of housing these days...dunno about you, but I find the idea of rent highly unappealing. At least with a mortgage you get to keep the property at the end of it!
