You should only think about recruiting someone once you have something to show yourself. A proof of concept game engine, for example. Use placeholder graphics for now - it doesn't have to be perfect first time around. If you can show you know what you're doing and how to make this game of yours, you're that much more likely to entice other people to help out, people of higher quality who will stick around.

Well, given a visual novel is all about its story, a plot outline would be appropriate. Figure out some more details about your project, flesh it out, and then make a thread about it. Use your imagination, and think about what you would want to see in such a thread. Remember that the thread is NOT for recruiting people to your cause; the thread is to show off your game and describe it. Recruitment may happen, but it doesn't count towards the worthiness of the thread.

Your thread was not approved. Literally the only thing it said about your game was that it would be a "visual novel, potentially dating sim style game based off of League of Legends and its characters and lore", which is not enough information.

Luckily mod actions are all easily reversible by higher staff if something goes wrong. Admins are the ones with the ability to almost delete the site at will if we didn't have backups, hehe. And of course that's a hard rank to get to. x'D

No way to apply, mods are chosen by super mods/admins in certain boards when we need them. ;3 But there honestly isn't a huge difference between smod and admin.. admins have the ability to actually make changes to the forum though, like adding new boards, promoting people, and other things that require the admin control panel.

I was just promoted up the ranks like anyone else. =) Mod in August 2012, super mod in February 2014, and admin in March 2015. Admin promotions are pretty rare though so that makes it all the more special for me.

Haha... it's okay. I have some embarrassing marks on this forum too.

It comes with growing up here, I guess. :]

I joined originally in 2006 but didn't become active until 2011. Got promoted to admin in March 2015.. so it hasn't been very long. x'D

I'm not sure if you get notified or not. A lot of mods do notify members of what their thread lacks for acceptance, but sometimes they just forget or something else comes up and they don't get back to it. I'd say sit on it for a couple more days, wait and see if anything happens and then maybe like Saturday or Sunday message one of the mods for the section and check up on the thread if you've not heard anything back.
