I can understand how you miss your siblings. I don't have any biologically brothers and sisters so I think people are lucky if they have any brothers or sisters :D XNaut here is fortunate enough to be a twin. I like your positive way of looking at things. Yes, the time that you guys do get to have together is super special!! I bet with holidays coming you'll be seeing eachother again soon. Any plans for Halloween or Thanksgiving?

My vision is so terrible that it's almost comical. Everything is awash and blurry without either glasses or contacts in. it's like looking through a fun house mirror when I don't have anything to correct my vision. When I wear glasses they are probably not clean because when I am putting them on I can't see well enough to tell if they are smeared or not. When they are on my face things still look way better than they did without them. I can only tell if there's water staining the spectacles. Anyway It's cool to have an excuse to buy somr snazzy designer eyewear to frame my face like a fashion accessory. Maybe one day I will try contact lenses with color in them.

Thank you for your kind words about my pets. Salem was outdoors in that picture, but he comes inside too. He comes and goes from our home as he pleases, we have a pet door. I would like to bring him inside all the time, but he technically belongs to the people who live next door to me, who honestly just leave him on the streets and don't lift a finger for him. I groom him, feed him and give him a warm bed here whenever he shows up. I wish I knew a way to get him out of their neglectful hands. The way many people treat animal gets me down sometimes, but people like you who love them cheer me up. <3

I hope your pup is feeling better and home with you, or on their way to you very soon. I am glad that it is nothing serious. I look forward to hearing about your new furry friend.

It's fascinating that you have found such a diversity of friends online of all ages from all over the world. That is really cool, and it does sound like a good way of adjusting to the absence of family moving out. You are never really alone. I have met so really fun penpals from Germany, Canada, Australia, England and more through the web. The wonders of science!

This is my cat Ward, named after Ward Kimball the animator of Lucifer the cat from Cinderella. I think he's part Norwegian forest cat but nobody believes me because he was an abandoned cat I adopted him from Arf. Folks tell me that nobody would lose a cat that rare, but here he is. My Ward is smart, cool and likes to nonchalantly push a button just to see what will happen.

Sorry about my mindless rambling but I have a lot to say about smogon and the Pokemon community (not this forum) in general. Also I cut down my reply by a lot because I tend to write a lot over things I have strong feelings about, but didn't want to waste your time.

You are correct, I dislike Smogon but not because it dismisses so many Pokemon as useless. Unfortunately there are notable gaps in many Pokemon's usefulness indeed due to GameFreak's laziness and unbalanced games, not a fault of Smogon who just goes with the best of them. What I dislike about Smogon is their attitude, they think they're the ultimate authority on what determines a good Pokemon or player. Use a Pokemon that's not that good, and they will likely sneer at you, even though it gives them an advantage, and you know it's not a generally good Pokemon but you try anyways, and they think you suck and that Pokemon sucks and that's that. And a lot of competitive players these days are younger kids who got into it thinking they're the more smarter and better side of Pokemon fans like they're Bobby Fischer playing chess. It's annoying. Like LoL community except with Pokemon. I met a lot of sneering comments on Showdown myself.

I did check out the youtube guy, I don't like Pokemon youtubers sorry, most of them seem not genuine and clickbait-y especially guys like Pimpnite. Even Chuggaaconroy doesn't seem genuine anymore. This guy seems like he only uses these "useless" Pokemon as a gimmick to his channel, doesn't really like them. His fans seem annoying and immature too. But hey going to OU 1800s with a Magcargo, pretty impressive I'll give him that. Last guy I watched was PikaWu who also used some unorthodox mons but he hasn't made a vid since 2016.

I guess I can't appreciate competitive pokemon or I just might be outgrowing pokemon. This is why I only really keep to myself about Pokemon now beside this forum. The Pokemon fans outside of this forum are too immature or unbearable for me.
