my life's been full of free time, unlike other people. But I choose not to invest that time in ROM hacking.. I'm instead writing a book. Making a hack and writing a book are almost the same thing. ;)

Yes, I was, and it really has been that long ago! My skills have improved since then, but I have given up, accepting not everyone can make a hack. :P I remember you as well... same avatar since then, eh? I remember seeing maps of yours in the MRT from time to time

Thanks, and believe me, I am dying to. I just don't have the time to because I'm focusing on mapping and scripting. When BETA 3 is ready and it almost is, I'll go through the bug fixing and the extra stuff like flower animation, patch updates from JPAN's patch and Jambo. Things of that nature.

Also, I'm fairly certain it's more than two. His parents explained through his doctors words to the effect of "He's avoiding reality and difficult situations by creating a new personality / identity for different situations." Eh. This stuff is depressing. =_=;

I see. And yeah. He went to church camp at Florida, and had a break down. I still worry about him all the time. Since he's been gone, his parents got divorced, after they had twins. It's quite tragic. Interestingly, he's always remembered me though. No matter which "personality" is active. It's kinda cruel, gives me a little hope for him and then science tells me "no". I can only imagine what it's like. :\

Well, that has got to be no bueno! I have a friend with multiple personality and a few other mental health issues. He went as far as to almost kill his father. He's in Vegas now, and I hear he's doing pretty well. Being a teenager is what made it the hardest for him because his body chemicals and hormone levels were on a constant flux evidently. But I think they finally have is meds figured out and his chemicals steady enough for him to be happy as he is.

And yeah, it's in Python. I'm considering making it into C++. Maybe. If I do, it will use actual threads rather than thread emulation like I'm doing now with Python. The problem is that I can't type-define a function pointer in my base Task class then use it to point to a member function of an actual implementation. "Cannot convert between ActualGameTask::void (*) to Task::void (*)" which is weird, because all I would need to fix this is a static cast ; the rest of the function signature is entirely the same, and my classes are polymorphic ( can you tell I've tried this already? XD )
EH. It's a headache.

*also, I'm not actually bi-polar fyi. It just feels that way a lot of the times.
