Hi, nice to meet you! :)

What genres do you write? I'm a fantasy writer myself but I like to read all kinds of other genres. I've got 2 WIPs I hope to publish someday... if I ever manage to work up the discipline. I'm a terrible procrastinator. :P

Well, you know... The production value is a lot better than most of Nickelodeon's cartoons. Granted, I kind of felt like the storyline's were a bit rushed between Seasons One and Two, but they were a far cry from shows like SpongeBob SquarePants or Fairly OddParents. In any case, it's worth waiting for.

I can be impatient too, but some things can't be helped.

ahahaha, I didn't exactly ask for in-depth critique. It was more of a "hey, I wrote these - how are they by an amateur's standards? :p" I mean, a "ehh, you could've done better imo" or "they're quite good" would've sufficed haha

And well, the contest. I still haven't voted. Shall do so soon. Awesome entries, though. I never expected so many creative entries. *_*'

To my knowledge, no. But, I don't keep up with TLOK announcements as much as I do Pokémon ones, so I may be mistaken.

Subtle stuff like that comes back a lot in the Avatar series. I mean, The Library was alluded to at the end of Season One of ATLA, and then the group actually went their during the midseason finale for Season Two. While the Face Stealer didn't play an important role in the original show, the fact that he still exists is more than enough reason to think that he may come back at some point. A lot of minor stuff like that comes into play constantly in this series.

That is probably the direction the story's going to head in. But, I think part of it may involve dealing with "past demons" the previous avatars had to contend with. Aside from Vatu, there was Wan-shi-tong (the owl spirit in charge of an ancient library) who Aang PO'd halfway through the original Avatar saga and another one (I forget his name) known as the "Face Stealer," who took the face/life of an older Avatar's wife.

Yeah. Her training is completely unfinished. I mean, she knows how to air-bend, but the spiritual aspect of it still eludes her. She's starting to understand what it's all about, but she still has a long way to go.

No, in Season One, Amon (aka Noatok) used his bloodbending to block her bending powers, but he didn't sever the bond with her past Avatars. In Season Two, Vatu (an ancient dark spirit who possessed Korra's uncle) forcibly removes Rava (his light counterpart that's been spiritually bonded to the Avatar the past 10,000 years) from Korra and severs the link to Korra's past lives. In addition, Vatu went the extra length to destroy Rava in front of Korra's eyes, permanently ending her link to the past Avatars. By the end of their conflict, Rava got reborn within Vatu like she originally was supposed to (since they were originally the same spirit bound at the tail), Korra destroyed Vatu, and then Rava and her finally reunited; however, the reborn Rava had no attachments to the previous Avatars.

Season III may be a little more Korra-oriented now. She hasn't really finished her training, if you've paid attention, and the loss of her connection to the past Avatars makes me wonder how her personality is going to change.
