  • That's awesome! How long did you live there for? I really enjoyed the scenery in Noboribetsu (particularly at Hell's Valley) though I'm interested to hear what it'd be like to live there. :o
Hi, Scarf! I hope that things are running smoothly. I had a question about an English translation of a Japanese term/character..

In the context of the first Ace Attorney game (http://aceattorney.wikia.com/wiki/Gyakuten_Saiban:_Yomigaeru_Gyakuten_Original_Soundtrack) and the first installment in the "Pursuit ~ Cornered" suite of tracks (particularly, Track #8 on the aforementioned article), would "追求" be translated as "Pursuit" or "Pressing Pursuit"? Most places that I've seen omit the "Pressing" part in the English translation, so I'm wondering if it is supposed to be there or if it is "optional" for inclusion.. Thanks in advance for your help!
That's fair, I definitely didn't enjoy it as much as other movies. Good luck with both of them xD
I think the latter option is more likely for Ghostbusters haha. I thought AoU wasn't bad at all, but it definitely wasn't quite as strong as the first one.
Civil War does look good, didn't realise they were remaking Ghostbusters. That sounds like a shocking idea :/
Yeah, it's good to focus on the positives as much as you can. I hope things continue to look up.
Yeah, since October actually. Such is life though. How have you been? Better than me I hope xD
I wish. I've not been able to eat much at all recently.

On another note, you're profile page is amazing.
I think it's growing, at least in its ability to express itself politically. Angry white guys haven't found a better candidate than Donald Trump for some time. But I guess all these Sanders supporter will vote for Hillary to prevent a Republican White House no matter what.
I sometimes wonder if I'm getting generation fatigue. At what point would I get fed up because I can't keep up with all the Pokemon games anymore? I think I'll reserve judgement until more details about the features come out. I wasn't really a fan of Mega Evolutions - I could tolerate them, but not embrace them. They were a bit too big of a leap from what I was used to, I guess.

I think Donald Trump has a real chance of changing the Republican Party. If they begin by changing their image to being the party of people's grievances, then maybe their policies will follow in time.
Well, I guess it's not that bad per se, it's just not as good as it used to be with a lot of the old regulars not being around anymore :P I guess it's a matter of nostalgia.

I was personally a bit surprised by Sun and Moon cuz I thought that Gen 6 had gone by too quickly but that just might be because there was no Pokemon Z and I had the idea in my head that we would all be ready to move on to Gen 7 once the third version came out. Gen 5 had third versions but no remakes so I guess there's a precedent that a generation can have just one of either a third version game or a remake since having both cases in one generation has been possible starting Gen 3. Temporally it makes sense - Gen 6 will have been 3 years old come the release of Sun and Moon so I don't have a case there. I guess the reason it feels so fast for me is because I've only played Gen 6 up to a couple months after OR/SS came out, so it feels like it's only been one and a half years since Gen 6 started. I don't know how I feel about Sun and Moon yet. I hope there'll be more than 70 Pokemon.

As for the election, my favourite by far is Sanders, but he just got trounced in South Carolina and my doubts are setting in and it's gloomy. A Trump presidency would be very interesting for the historian in me, so at least I'll get some entertainment value out of it should it happen.
We can really use people like you in the Round Table nowadays. Calm, respectful, and level-headed voices are few and far between these days. Not that I'm trying to get you to post there or anything, just that I miss and have always appreciated your presence there :)

Anyways, how are things going with you? Still follow current events and stuff, the election maybe? How's your activity on PC? I haven't seen you much for a while now.
Well I could be (and it'd be really awesome if you were Morty) but we used to mod D&D together back when it was still D&D :P For a time, at least. BlahISuck.
Speaking of food, I went to the Food Festival with my best friend and neighbours. To be honest it wasn't that great for what is a yearly event but I had a decent time regardless. Ended up having some Japanese style chilli chicken noodles for lunch. There was a knife shop selling overly expensive knives but I suppose if you're a hardcore chef, that's the kind of kit you need. Or hardcore serial killer >_>

I'm going on holiday in a few weeks time and I got my competition coming up but I've trapped a nerve in my right shoulder and it hurts like hell. I think I have enough time for it to recover but I have to take it easy for a while which is frustrating because I want to train V---V
