Yeah, I got to the point where I was annoyed by all the Gen 6.5 speculation that I took a short break. I think this might be Gen 7 like GSC were to RGBY.

Hahaha, I actually did come up against that one...now that one I don't believe.

The only rumors I've read are that it's a multi part system, and that the handheld will be coming out late this year, pretty plain compared to some of the others.

They said the same thing about the DS and the GBA...so who knows if it'll be a repeat. well as long as it's successful. I personally didn't hate the E3, but even I find some of those rumors to be interesting, well the ones I've read anyways. None of those have said no more Wii U for 2016.

What do you think NX is? I do think that it'll be something atypical.
Btw, what do you think of them maintaining support for the 3DS and Wii U despite the NX? They tried that with the GBA and it failed.

wouldn't use Blastoise as a spinner, i recommend starmie. Sylveon isn't good as a defensive pokemon imo (only specs is worth using) when Clefable exists. The rest of your team is ok.

Convert Japan? Otaku culture is already looked down upon by the highly filial and conservative aspects of mainstream Japanese culture, it's this intense pressure and fact that pretty much gave birth to the sub-culture itself...hence the trope for wachy stuff from Japan, so I don't really see what other pressures other countries will bring to bear. Mind you that otaku culture HAS already done such expansions overseas and such reaction had already occurred in the 90's. Remember how Pokemon was supposed to be the devil's spawn?

Still that's beside the point, all I was trying to point out was that yes OPM is a fun parody with widespread appeal but it's not going to singlehandedly save anime itself that has been in fiscal crises since the 2000's. It's just a matter of fact that sex sells, and it's what sells the merch and tie-ins.
