It was Mostly Okay, which counts! Adult birthdays aren't quite as fun anymore but I'm going on a quick weekend trip with friends so it's good!

I'm not sure if you're pleased by this or want to strangle me a little.

It's a little uncomfortable, but the worldbuilding explains why their world is like that really well. The lore and building is just so deep and well done that as a writer I really admire it. Added bonus that the story itself is good as is the animation and sound xD

Top Speed was my favourite by far but I also really liked Alice tbh, she seemed really edgy at first but turned out to be the total opposite haha. Nemu would have been up there if she hadn't basically insta-died :')

I've kept up with more tbh. I've been much slower on my watching lately though so it's actually pretty easy to follow a large number.

Shinsekai Yori has the most amazing worldbuilding. You definitely should finish it. It's one of my favourites. I actually went and read the book I liked it so much.

I trained up a Seel to level 21 and did mantine surfing to teach Seel Water Pulse just so I can beat Kiwi's trial. Now I'm up against both a Totem Marowak AND a Salazzle?!!! And Brick Break did OVER HALF. I also couldn't catch palossand until after the trial! Help!

So, I watched it. Overall I enjoyed it, I love it when writers take a typically fluffy, family-friendly genre and then twist the shit out of it. The characters and general atmosphere of the show were really good and they made you actually care about most of the deaths. I couldn't justify giving it more than a 6/10 though because most of the deaths were flagged AF and the plot kind of... was there one? Don't get me wrong though, I liked it xD

I just plugged your team into a weakness calculator and you cover all of your bases really well. So you aren't missing anything type-wise. You have 1 4x weakness to ground and 1 2x weakness to ground, but Decidueye and Vaporeon probably make up for that.

Currently you have 3 specially offensive pokemon and 2 physically offensive pokemon (that can be mixed). I would recommend a physically offensive pokemon just for balance. It would help if you face a really specially defensive pokemon with typing that is decent against your team.
