I sorta just stumbled across Shazz looking for SIFAS guides, but I'll check his videos for info on upcoming SBLs and the events for a certain month (I remember watching his February 2021 video at least 7 times to make sure when we could expect Fes Ayumu/Shioriko to drop) and his current content until the EN server syncs up with the JP server is mainly to give EN players info on what's coming up.
Ohhh, I remember seeing a couple videos by Eryn! There was one video she was in with someone else and I have to and find that again, I remember this really silly joke she made about playing SIF by slapping your favourite idols in the face with tambourines. I think unfortunately I got into LL too late to really see her content as it came out, but she was pretty cool to me in the videos I saw. I think I saw one of rinsenpai's videos that she was in?

I like to joke I have a gacha addiction and pull whenever I have enough for a 10 pull, haha. I do actually have the patience to save up, and it's what I did for Fes Ayumu. I ended up saving up 21k (free) stars over 3 months before she came out, and streamed my pulls to some friends. I ended up getting her but really wanted to spark for Shioriko, so I saved up 4k more (still free) stars and pulled Shioriko from gacha anyways, so I just sparked another limit break for Ayumu. It was the first time I ever sparked in a gacha game and it's been only a month ago. I tried to save up stars in Bandori too, but I just couldn't save enough because my account was older and there were less ways to get more stars. I never ended up getting the card I saved for in Bandori, but ended up getting one of my 2 dream cards a few months after I saved for her.
Sparking is a super fun part of gacha games but you definitely need the patience and control to be able to do it, and just pulling whenever you want is lots of fun anyways.~

Oh have you seen the Statue of Liberty then? That's one of the things I've always wanted to do. If my family does visit new york this summer i'll send you a picture of it on here.

My family doesn't trust uber, so we usually taxi if possible (on family vacations). Otherwise, since we don't live in a city uber isn't a big thing here. But yeah I get it. My family goes to Baltimore all the time and that is not a safe place at all. Definitely don't want to be there walking at night. If you can get past that, it's a lovely port city.

Yes Sky is a very emotional game. As someone who rarely ever cries, that game almost got me. But as a heads up, you have to play the post game. The post game is not so much a post game, but a continuation of the main story. But yes, this game has one of the greatest stories. This is coming from a big fan of plot heavy games.

But also I wanted to say thanks for these messages. I try not to talk your ear off (I do it for some people). Every message I get on Pokecommunity means the world to me. I cherish everybody on here. As someone who hasn't felt the best about themselves recently (depression and all that lame stuff), I always log off feeling better than I did.

No problem! I probably should have clarified, Magical Fever Kasumi's considered the best because she has good stats and an Appeal+ All passive. I don't think many event URs are on par with gacha URs but I believe Kasumi's an exception to that rule?

Yesss, Setsuna is so wonderful and I love her so much! I'd been recently saving up for the Mystic Fairy Ayumu UR that just dropped but since we just came off of the 1st anniversary Fes banners and I was scouting for Fes Kanan, I only had about 1k stars left and couldn't pull Ayumu either. Unfortunately I no longer have every Ayumu UR in the game so she'd be the first thing I'm after.
Spending that much on merch is super impressive to me, that's super cool! Since I got into LL more recently I haven't really had the ability to buy much merch besides a figure and neso of You. Hopefully I can get them of Ayumu and Setsuna too!

My collection is only missing 2 cards, so keep your head up, it could totally be possible to collect all of them without spending much (I've only really been able to put about $10 into this game). Especially considering you've got about half a year to save for Riko's birthday gacha if you're interested in it?

I was playing Explorers of Sky and made Skitty my partner. It's interesting because Skitty is genuinely very strong in this game. It gets doubleslap, and for some reason each slap is treated like a full power move. (You can see how that would break things). Sometimes boss fights end in a few seconds.

That's a bit odd to me, because I'd imagine the city would be the safer place. Being more populated and everything. Do you consider NYC to be a safe place? Also this is about to sound really clumsy, but aren't new york and new york city two different places? I remember being confused about "Virginia" and "West Virginia". I never understood why not just make them one singular state.

I'm thinking at this point maybe restarting The Legend of Korra. But the beginning was also really slow. I'm stuck in a loop of wanting to recap the show but not wanting to sit through all the episodes again.

Good to hear! Happy cleansing and I wish you good luck on hitting the 30% chance every time, haha. I'm realizing now that considering rerolling accounts until you get Angel Riko is a little too strong of an opinion, since it's easy to just buy Cryptid Kanan from the SBL shop, who has a 20% chance to cleanse upon switching strategies. I'd say I'd recommend her if you have a team that just cannot work with Angel Riko, but considering you have some LBs on Riko, probably wouldn't be worth it. If you're looking for a good UR to buy from the SBL shop with your medals though, buy Magical Fever Kasumi since she's considered to be the best UR in the SBL shop.

It's awesome the All Stars Pass has a free trial, especially so you can see what it's worth. Good luck on your free solo pulls! The 7% UR rate is very fun, but I didn't manage to get any during my trial haha. My solo luck has been coming from Fes banners apparently... I agree the price is pretty steep for what I was expecting (the economy in this game is a little silly, it feels like everything is way too expensive) but as someone who's been considering playing this game more seriously for a while now, I'm kinda considering it. I have an addiction and knowing I can do a free pull everyday makes me happy.
My honest advice is that it's not worth it if you're not looking into playing the game more seriously (with things like tiering for events, any kind of SBL award hunting, or whaling) or if you don't play daily (since you'll skip out on things like the free solo pull, the double rewards from training, and the free LP refill). Besides that, hey this is a gacha game and $13 per month (it's $18 for me in CAD) is a lot less than people will usually end up spending.

Speaking of stuff like gacha, are you interested in trying to get any specific card? There's a few I'm looking for, the biggest one being Fes Setsuna (of course!), but I'm missing one last SR Ayumu to complete my Ayumu collection. I'm curious about how you feel about gacha or what you enjoy in the game, since everyone's answers are different!

That's pretty much what I did! I started playing on day 1 because I wanted to pull for initial You (I didn't reroll, I got her on day 2), I actually didn't pick up JP until recently (I just don't often play JP servers of games, I didn't with SIF) but I took a break between April and October and started trying to play seriously once I came back (though things didn't really pick up until I went to spark Fes Ayumu) and now I have an actual collection haha. The massive amount of Fes banners we've had recently help a lot.

Happy to help! A reminder Riko's cleanse goes off 30% of the time so you kinda just have to switch and pray a lot until she cleanses, haha. Ideally you want her to cleanse right away. Another thing to note is even if the song isn't cleansable, her ability will still activate and you'll get the pop-up for it, it just won't do anything. So it's good to still get used to it.

Raising a card's LBs is never wasted resources, but yeah it's way more effective to LB your frontline scorers since you get more out of it. Either way, Radiance isn't too hard to get so I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you have the All Stars Pass, School Idol Wishes are a great and fast way to reach MLB on cards you want. Worth looking into!

Another thing to note with cleansing is that sometimes you just have good enough scorers to not worry about it! Fes Kanan is a great example of that, I recommend limit breaking her once you get enough radiance because I believe she can be strong enough to S rank some of the easier Advanced songs on her own without cleansing (she's that good). Usually when you build a general team you don't care too much about staying on the right attribute and just build off your highest appeal anyways, and Kanan... will definitely be up there.

Happy to help! The elegant team I recommended is probably best for a song like Ketsui no Hikari (Shioriko's solo song, if you have it unlocked) since it has a "gimmick note" where you tap it and it'll boost the appeal of Vo cards (helping you score with Mari) and is notorious for dealing a lot of stamina damage (which Ruby can help a lot with). My advice is just to pay a lot of attention to skills and play around with things! You can always test out new ideas and I'd be happy to talk to you more about teambuilding if you have any more ideas you want opinions on!
If you asked a lot of people what the best scorer in the game is right now, people would say Secret Galaxy Kanan. She's so good that people would spend enough money to spark for her, if that's any indication, haha. It's awesome to see you have such a new account but be blessed with a lot of good cards like her and Angel Riko.
Cleansing is super important but the game never explains it to you so it's something you kinda just have to find in guides unfortunately. I recommend just looking at the bottom left of your screen in a live when you switch strategies until you see "Debuffs Removed", which is Riko's cleanse activating. Besides that, you don't need to pay much attention to debuffs. Just make sure you know if the song is cleansable or not (if it's "Appeal" or "base Appeal"), and it's always just pretty safe to assume every song lowers the Appeal of cards that aren't the same attribute. You get used to it after a while! In my opinion, Angel Riko is one of the best cards in the game, and I'd consider remaking accounts until I got her if I started a new account. Glad I could deliver the good news about your best girl(?) !

I don't dislike my island, because there are certain spots I'm fond of. (Like, I built a nice waterfall). I'm sure yours is nice. We are our own worst critics. Have you tried out the new update? I think they added a bunch of new Mario themed items like warp pipes. I actually tend to always keep my original starting villagers because I find them sentimental, so...Mira and Poncho are staying.

Is it different from living in the U.S? I've seen pictures (oh dear I almost typed pikachu's). of south africa. It looks like a concrete jungle city to me. My family has talked visiting New York when we all get our vaccinations and can go safely together, which sounds really fun. Probably just for a few days. I've only been to New Jersey, never New York.

I'm not a good artist. My album sort of show cases that, however I think I'm better at sketching. I like pencil sketching animals from time to time.
