Krekker looks as many Bisharps do. In a word: pointy. He was born somewhat lacking in colour, sporting a mostly grey body rather than the reds or occasional blues that are more ordinary amongst Bisharp kind. He sports a metal visor just beneath his eyes, with noticeable gashes in it on one side where something appears to have been viciously scratched out. He is generally slightly slimmer than most Bisharps, with less bulky armour.

Personality:

Krekker is a 'mon who appears serious on the outside, and in many respects he is. New company will almost always be faced with his passive-aggressive nature in some way or another. He makes little effort to socialise with those he doesn't know, especially if there are more than one of them at a time. He's the kind of person you'd see in the kitchen at parties, slowly sipping a drink in sombre silence, tucked away in a corner, showing astounding interest in some kind of crack in the wall. Large social occasions are not his forte, for sure. Small ones he may be more comfortable with, so long as he actually knows someone. One-to-one, he becomes more open, so long as there isn't too personal a level of prying.

On official business, Krekker is trained to operate swiftly and efficiently. In most cases, he can control himself to work and fight alongside virtually anyone – if he deems it necessary. His personal view is that anything important takes precedence over petty personal squabbles, although he has been known to break that rule himself on a few occasions. His temper is a fickle thing – he seems to have a relatively large level of tolerance within which he can remain calm and entirely collected. However, with enough prodding, his temper can snap. And by snap, I mean explode.

Krekker prides himself on being more of an intellectual than a fighter – though he doesn't consider himself a bad fighter, by any means. He is a tactician and a thinker, favouring strategy in battle over all else. It is true that his brain has claimed victory for him on many an occasion; although, he tends to be a little overconfident in the power his strategy will give him. There are some battles you just aren't equipped to win, though the Bisharp has trouble believing that. Though he has great interest in the weapons and how they work, he cares little for using them. In general, though, the new technologies the Mechanists are discovering fascinate him, and he strives to discover more and more about the world that lies below.

Despite his seriousness toward strangers, Krekker hides a fairly well-developed sense of humour. He has a cunning mind and a sharp wit, favouring dry humour and more sophisticated, well thought-out jokes. The Bisharp can also take jokes fairly well – before throwing them back in the offender's face with a wry smile. Krekker has a certain soft spot for a battle of wits, even if he loses.

Religion was something that Krekker participated in, but never really got into. His generally high intellect caused him to question beliefs with little evidence - not generally such a good idea in this case, it turned out. The dismissal of his questions only caused further suspicion, but luckily for him, Krekker knew that it was within his best interests to be quiet about it. Although he has never seen a legendary, he's still open to the possibility that they exist, due to the fair level of consistency in the ways they are represented. Their power and presence in the world, he doesn't really believe to be all it's cracked up to be.

Being a defected knight, he disagrees with their values and doesn't have much of a problem fighting them. He would, however, still find it a little awkward to end up fighting someone he knows. The Mechanists are in the right in his eyes, and he'll do his best to help them.

History:

Krekker Shar was born into a noble family of Bisharps – one with high expectations and high aspirations. Krekker, along with his slightly older brother (and to a lesser extent, his younger sister) were constantly bombarded with the prospect of becoming Knight Commanders, or even higher. Mr. and Mrs. Shar had had their eyes on a position of power for a long time – specifically, a place on the council. They saw their children as a kind of gateway to their desires in that respect, and promptly began their training to be knights as soon as feasibly possible. Knights were respected, Knight Commanders even more so, and even more respected than them was the leader of the knights himself. Use their children to rise through the ranks of knights (they figured this would be easier than rising through nobility themselves) and through there, slip into a seat on the council. Not that they didn't love their children, of course – they weren't the nicest parents, exactly, but they weren't that bad.

Krekker was an inquisitive child, grey as mentioned beforehand, and slightly thinner and less bulky when compared to other Pawniards. When training as a knight, these facts seemed to be pointed out a lot. Although ridicule from the other students would be bad enough, the fact that the teachers showed little restraint either was simply demoralising. It wasn't really straight-up insulting so much as it was simply stating facts, and although what they said was indeed true, it still didn't seem entirely relevant. A disguised kind of insult that you couldn't catch them out on, which in Krekker's eyes made it all the worse. He trained nonetheless, despite his growing distaste for generally everyone involved – besides, surprisingly enough, his brother. Admittedly, Krekker received no comfort from the other young Pawniard, but there was nothing between the two to particularly initiate anything, simply a pact of passiveness toward one another.

As training continued, and the others grew bored of pointing out Krekker's flaws, they became a little more open to his more respectable features. Teachers praised him on his technique and mental ability, and fellow students grew a grudging respect for his skill and ruthlessness in games of the mind. He showed some promise, which was a vast improvement on his earlier endeavours. However, he continued to feel disconnected from the views of his peers. He was too questioning, too disinterested in the war with the Mechanists. His attitude never changed in this way, though he tended to hide it more effectively. Perhaps in a less noble family he'd have been arrested, killed, even.

Soon after evolving, Krekker constructed his own armour – merely a visor, as Bisharps are understandably not the easiest Pokémon to create armour for. He gradually became more and more detached from the lives of his kin, spending long days simply sitting and staring into the distance, or training alone for hours on end. He'd become a knight, but he cared little for it – nay, he despised it – and eventually, his patience stopped. Three years ago, when the council seat opened, Krekker's mother was sure his father would be granted the position. When Matthew Wilger filled the spot, both parents were outraged. Mrs. Shar blamed the children, in a fit of rage – particularly Krekker, who had been neglecting his knightly duties.

A few days later, Krekker simply left and never came back. He regrets slightly that he didn't make a bigger thing of it, wreaked havoc and revenge or something. He just left, peacefully. Being a knight made it relatively easy. He scraped off the oran berry on his visor in disgust, threw away his gem of knighthood, then just walked out into the plains. He kept his visor as a mark of who he once was, and who he now is - mainly, though, it's because he made it and doesn't want to just throw it away. A few explanations and a few battles on the Mechanist side, as well as an obvious interest in new technologies, eventually managed to dissuade the Mechanist's distrust in him, though there are many who are still uncomfortable with his presence.
