Welcome. This is the portal that leads you to the world of Pokémon. Beyond this gateway, many new adventures and fresh experiences await your arrival. Only Pokémon inhabit this world. There are no trainers, nor will there be in the course of this roleplay. Be strong, stay smart. And be victorious!

You are a Pokémon that has been living in the village of Haven for quite some time and, fairly recently, you achieved your goal of joining the Haven Exploration Guild. The guild is led by its founder, an imposing Steel/Psychic type Pokémon called Bronzong, and his right-hand and secretary, Snubbull. The guild aims to educate and train young Pokémon into becoming full-fledged Explorers; Pokémon that are fit to go into Mystery Dungeons, carry out quests and rescues and sometimes even explore completely new areas.

Guild Regulations:
1. Follow all PC and RPC rules.
2. This RP is rated T, meaning you will have to restrict violence, gore and romance to a mild level.
3. Be fair, nice and respectful towards other players. This also implies no godmodding, bunnying without permission, or anything of the sort.
4. Please try to stay active, and consult the GM's if anything is amiss.
5. Smiles go for miles! Have fun!

The Guild Camp

In MD: The Grand Expedition, players will be travelling alongside the haven Exploration Guild on a grand quest across the World for adventure and discovery. The Guild will move around using the "Guild Camp" a collection of tents and services that are carried by large caravans accompanying the trip on their expedition. Below is a description of the various tents and their functions.

Spoiler:

Mystery Dungeons:

The expedition will take our heroes through many different locations... the most dangerous of which being the Mystery Dungeons. As the story progresses, Mystery Dungeons visited will be posted here, as well as the next Mystery Dungeon to come up. Be sure to watch this space, to see where the adventure leads next.

Brine Cove - CURRENT
Because the Haven Peninsula is almost completely surounded by steep cliffs, Brine Cove is convenient for providing a natural stairway (known as the Regi's Causeway) to reach sea level. Pokémon often visit this place, but because the tide can be strong and sudden, combined with stormy winds, it can still be dangerous. Deep in the cove, there is also a cave to explore, but this should be visited with caution as it completely floods when the tide comes up. It is mostly inhabited by Rock- and Water-type Pokémon.

Spoiler:

Mechanics:

As opposed to joining the guild and forming a rescue team, in this RP you've joined the guild as a solo Pokémon Explorer. The story will take place in Arcs progressing throughout the RP. Each Arc takes place in a new location, just outside of the next Mystery Dungeon that the Guild will be exploring in search of treasure and fortune. New pokémon are always welcome to join the guild, as such, Sign Ups for this RP are always open and reservations are completely unnecessary. During each Arc there are two main location for your character to post in and explore. The Guild Camp which has the same facilities but new terrain and secrets with every Arc. You are also, obviously, free to enter the Mystery Dungeon of the Arc, exploring the location, fighting foes, seeing sights and... most importantly... discovering great treasures!
Every member of the guild will receive a Warp Crystal, which can be used to return to The Guild Longtent from any Dungeon in the country. It is a fragment of the large crystal stored in the Guild Longtent, and through its resonation allows you to teleport back to the front desk within mere seconds.

Gallant the Kirlia

Species:
Kirlia

Gender:
Male

Time Spent at the Guild:
Gallant is not part of the guild itself, but has been hired to accompany them on their expedition. He belongs to an outside team known as "Team Morning Sun". He has been a part of this team for two years now and will serve as a senior explorer and mentor to the guilds pokémon on the trip. He's a slightly higher level then the guild recruits, being roughly estimated to be level 20-25.

Appearance:
In every way the normal Kirlia, Gallant has no major differentiating factors to his appearance apart from one key feature. His left eye was damaged and scarred in a fight against a mysterious foe many years ago. It's permanently closed and even if forced open he is completely blinded in it. The scar tracing the eye covers most of the left side of Gallants face and he makes no issue to hide it, despite this he refuses to comment on its origins, claiming the scar "isn't important anymore". Perhaps due to being born in a sunny and coastal area, his skin bears a slightly darker tone in all areas from his white body to his red sensors and green "hair".

History:
Gallant hatched from his egg on a craggy coast with not a single person around to watch over him. His egg had seemingly been abandoned at the shoreline with no explanation. It surely would have been left there near the end of the hatching cycle. He never would've actually made it out otherwise... But the fact that he was so close to hatching before he was left alone confuses him to this day. The area he had been left in was scarcely filled with any pokémon... and the ones that were present had no desire to attack a small and defenseless ralts. When there was the odd conflict however, he would simply teleport away and hide until he felt safe enough to continue exploring and trying to gather food.

Home was never a word that really resonated with him at all, nor was it a concept he ever really grasped. The coast he hatched on was empty and bear, it was no warm and sandy beach but a grey slate crag beset by constant waves. He had left that place as soon as he was capable of understanding that there was more to the World then where one first sets foot upon the stone.

Upon travelling the World for long enough he encountered a situation that questioned his morals for the first time. A powerful looking Umbreon was beset upon by a Hitmonlee using type advantage to gain an unfair edge in the fight. The young, still nameless ralts made the decision to intervene, though he was small and fairly weak his own type advantage distracted the fighting type long enough to allow the Umbreon to be deal a final blow.

The Umbreon, named Miles took a liking to the small pokémon whom had saved him and upon learning the ralts had no name... he gave him one that seemed appropriate for a little one whom stood up to someone bigger to protect another. Gallant.

Miles was a high ranking member in a large and powerful Exploration team calling themselves "Team Morning Sun". Gallant, attached to the Umbreon like he had been to no other, followed Miles back to his team and received training to become stronger than he had ever been before. Gallant had an unusual knack for combat and support on the battlefield and quickly became a valuable asset to the team, even finding the power to evolve from deep within his very essence. Now a Kirlia, he has been entrusted with a very important and well-paying mission. He is to act as escort, to the Haven Exploration Guild as they travel on a mission of exploration and treasure-hunting. It will be a long and arduous task for Gallant, whom usually prefers to work with a small and experienced group of explorers... but for the extortionate pay and the chance to prove himself as an invaluable asset to his team, he will do as he needs to.

Personality:
Mostly silent, Gallant isn't one to talk when his voice doesn't need to be heard. Spending his beginning years in total seclusion means that he didn't grow up talking much an he has a heavy accent. For this reason he usually prefers to speak using telepathy, something he has trained himself to do for years since his first contact with other pokémon in a non-hostile manner.

He always seems rather aloof, keeping his interactions brief and as to the point as possible. He's more than willing to ignore people completely if he feels like he simply doesn't have the time to deal with them. Despite this abruptness and lack of conversation, describing Gallant as a bad person can be rather difficult. He takes his job very seriously yes, but his job is to escort, protect and assist the guild of Haven until their exploration is complete. He is more than willing to protect the new recruits, aid in their training and show them the ins and outs of what being an explorer is really about... whether he's doing this for monetary gain or out of genuine kindness is debatable however.

For his friends and allies he is a sworn sword, he fights savagely to protect those whom mean something to him. His teammates from The Morning Sun being the key example. Perhaps after enough travelling together he might find that the members of the Haven guild are worth protecting. For right now, however, he is firmly unbiased in his opinion of each member, from the new recruits to the guild master. Until further notice... they are clients, not friends, however he does not believe that one cannot transfer to the other, he'll simply wait and see.

Moveset:
  • Ally Switch
  • Heal Pulse
  • Confusion
  • Disarming Voice
  • Magical Leaf
  • Teleport

Gosu the Gastly

Species:
Gastly

Gender:
Male

Time Spent at the Guild:
1 week

Appearance:
Spoiler:

History:
A litteral wandering spirit, Gosu travels from place to place without a care in the world. He can't remember how long he has been a nomad, but he can remember that he has a family in an old stone tower in a forrest full of dead trees whom he hasn't seen in a very long time.
Gosu arrived and decided to join the Haven expidition guild in a split second judgement call. He hopes that being around the same people and exploring the world will help cure his forgetfulness, and maybe even help recover the lost memories.

Personality:
Gosu suffers from amnesia induced by having lived (Relativly speaking) for so long. However he is a friendly enough guy, often cracking jokes and playing pranks. he loves sour food, but can't handle spicy food at all, often causing him to become confused and enraged. He is a friendly guy, which is an odd thing for a ghost, but Gosu never really could get into the whole spooky scary mindset. He would rather swap stories with travellers and maybe even make legends and stories of his own. Which is probably why he decided to go on an adventure in the first place. He is old and wise even if unable to recall his own past, his vast adventures have left him with a plethera of almost useless knowledge. Almost.

Moveset:
Night Shade, Hypnosis, Mean Look, Ice Punch, Lick, Curse

Name: Reemo Raed (when he evolves, he will change his name to Reemo Oct O'Leary)

Theme song: maybe
Spoiler:

Time Spent at the Guild:
About a month?

Appearance: Well, he doesn't float cutely around in the ocean under some Mantine's wing. Instead, he moves around on dry land - looking clumsy but actually being quite agile from all his training. He moves around using his little arm-fins and the lower rear fin as three sort of legs. Or basically, he moves around like a Seel or Sphealeo would. Except, he's not at all as heavy as they are, so he can use BOUNCE!

History: Reemo has always felt like he was meant for something bigger. The ocean wasn't big enough for him so he bid a dramatic farewell to his school and went to learn to live on dry land instead (which is strange, because the ocean is bigger than the land area, but hey). Unfortunately, life on land wasn't easy for a little fish. He ran into many wild, not very understanding pokémon and had a really rough time - until a team of pokémon explorers rescued him from a particularly nasty pursuer one day. He was struck with awe for these brave souls and asked to become one of them. They were very reluctant - he was a fish after all. How could he rescue anybody? However, the fish followed them as they were traveling back to their guild, and he tried relentlessly to show them that he was a hard worker and also clever. But it wasn't until he fired his water gun one day and they discovered that Reemo's aim was exceptional, that they finally became interested. Hoping that his skills with aiming would be enough to get him to a bright, famous future, Reemo joined the Exploration Guild.

Personality: In general, Reemo is a bit full of himself. He likes to be seen and praised. Secretly, he ends every day with thinking back on every little bit of appreciation or attention he got over the past day - it's what gets him going instead of ending up like a lost fish on dry land. Oh wait.

But he is also a hard worker and doesn't give up. Especially not if people are counting on him. He might talk to himself pretty often, because when nobody else is there to motivate him, he has figured out that he needs to do it himself. Despite his little oddities and vibrant personality traits, Reemo is actually a pretty clever person and not exactly mean. You could be his friend and trust him and have a good laugh with him, as long as you put up with his maniac tendencies as long as something big, exciting or important was going down. He is a very sore loser, also, and would rather fight to the end than to give up.

Strangely enough, he doesn't take a lot of pride in his excellent aim with his various beam/gun attacks. It's just something he has always been good at and didn't particularly work hard to achieve. How can you be proud of something you are born with? He is, however, pretty darn proud of his ability to surprise enemies (and friends) by moving around (relatively) swiftly despite looking like he really shouldn't. That, he did work hard for!

Moveset:
BOUNCE - LOCK ON - WATERGUN - PSYBEAM - AURORABEAM - ...
i would really like to have Octazooka but it's an egg move and I already too superspeshul Bounce so I guess I'm not allowed dear Octazooka ;; no ink spray for reemo? ;;

I suppose I shall make a reservation, to choose either Gible, Taillow or Trubbish...(Yes I'm thinking about Trubbish)...Hmmm

Name: Trey

Pokémon Species: Trubbish

Gender: Male

Time Spent at the Guild: 10 months

Appearance: Nothing special about him. Just your typical, run of the mill Trubbish
Spoiler:

History: Born and raised on the streets of Haven, Trey was an extreme troublemaker and pain in others' necks. Without any parental figures in his life, Trey turned to the only life presented to him, one of crime. Alongside his team of other abandoned Pokemon, the streets of Haven became a little less friendly. Between the vandalism, the shop lifting and even a couple muggings, Trey coordinated it all. On one fateful day though, Trey's life would be forever changed. It seemed like a routine vandalism job, until someone had apparently tipped off the cops. In the ensuing frenzy, Trey ran and tried to hide. Not paying much attention to where he was going, he ran into the Guild Master of Haven, Bronzong, and fell. The cops quickly caught up and were about to arrest Trey until Bronzong stepped in. He offered to take Trey into his custody in exchange for his release. The cops obliged and left Trey with Bronzong. From that forward, Trey worked for the Guild, doing much of the dirty work but he was off the streets. Months passed and Bronzong came in one day with some good news. Bronzong was offering to Trey his freedom from the Guild. No more dirty work. At first Trey was ecstatic but quickly came to realize something, he had enjoyed working at the Guild and didn't want to leave. He especially didn't want to leave Bronzong. So he kindly rejected the offer and joined the Guild as an apprentice. He had finally found a home and someone he could look to for guidance in his life.

Personality: Trey is a born leader. He loves taking any challenge head on. As such, he takes it upon himself to take charge when Snubbull and Bronzong are not around to keep the Guild in order even if he isn't supposed to do that. This leads to him to be a little more distant social-wise since he views himself as being "third-in-command". It also leaves him with poor judgement when it comes to making decisions, sometimes working out for the better, sometimes not so much. On the other hand, it makes him very reliable and willing to do anything for the Pokemon at the guild.
Trey also prefers to work alone when going out in the field. Its not that he doesn't trust the others but that he doesn't want his friends to get hurt even if it may mean he does. Working at the guild is his life now and will do anything to keep it up and running and safe for everyone

Moveset: Poison Gas/Acid Spray/Doubleslap/Rollout/Pound

Dávalos

Species:
Fennekin

Gender:
Male

Time Spent at the Guild:
2 weeks

Appearance:
Like any other Fennekin, except for a splotch of white fur on his stomach extending from an inch below its chin down for about 4 inches and white-tipped ears.

History:
Born to a Delphox and a Meowstic in a village in a forest known for housing nomadic performers for half of the year, Dávalos was part of a family who had performed in a caravan of magicians. Though psychic powers are far from an alien concept to those they perform for, the caravan (dubbed the Mysterios) innovated the practice of psychic showmanship with new, innovative techniques that blew the minds of those looking for the avant-garde and became controversial to the stricter traditionalists within the showman industry. When Dávalos became old enough to do so, he, as an adorable addition to draw in more crowds, became the third member of the Mysterios. Enjoying the limelight that these performances brought and the support from incredibly patient and supportive parents, he thrived working on stage. Because of his constant travelling for half the year as a member of the Mysterios, Dávalos has seen much of the region already. In a quest to become ever better, Dávalos, with the permission of his parents, joined the guild to learn new techniques (read: moves) via "avant-garde" methods.

Personality:
Being the son of two performers who aims to please the crowds, Dávalos is certainly very eccentric and showman-like. Constantly delivering hammy monologues about how great he is and how he's this or that, Davalos would like to think he is much bigger than his tiny 1' 4". However, this eccentricity and self-confident arrogance holds no hint of malice or condescension seeing as how his supposed "coolness" is really just kind of a dorky fantasy that he believes is fairly real that hides an otherwise kind and sensitive soul. That being said, however, he tends to be quite naïve and is almost trustworthy to a fault having been sheltered by his parents. Despite Dávalos' cheeriness and eccentricity, he can sometimes rub people off the wrong way as a showoff and arrogant, leading him to be a bit lonely when it comes to friends. In regards to having traveled a lot, Davalos enjoys a good adventure and is well-adjusted to the prospect of travelling to a variety of locales, fancying it as "no place too humble for the great Dávalos".

Ember, Psybeam, Scratch, Flame Charge, (2 move slots left intentionally blank)

My God. A PMD RP. All of my yes.

Hexoc(I use this name for practically everything else, wynaut an RP)

Species: Duskull

Gender: Male

Time Spent at the Guild: 3 weeks

Appearance: Hexoc's skull mask is covered in scratches. Other than that, normal Duskull all the way around.

History: Hexoc grew up in small village at the base of a mountain. Life there was quaint and no one who lived there ever left. Travelers, mostly explorers, stumbled into this sleepy little village from time to time. Most would take a rest in the inn and be on their way within two days. Hexoc's family kept the town running, and his father was well respected by villagers and travelers alike.

One day, a group of weird travelers came into town. This group consisted of Diamond, a Sableye with sharp looks and sharper claws, Piers, a Dewott that had a real way with words, and Felix, a Zoroark that made even lightning seem slow by comparison.

Their initial arrival was normal. Stranger groups of travelers had come into town before. But these Pokemon didn't leave soon after arrival. They stayed in the inn for 2 months, getting to know the people of the village, and helping with odd jobs here and there. Hexoc's father tried to get them to leave, but the villagefolk didn't see the harm in them staying, especially the inn keeper, who was happy to be making loads of money off these travelers.

Hexoc's father was soon proven right. One night, Diamond, Piers, and Felix snuck into his house, and kidnapped Hexoc. They left a note demanding a ransom, and set off into a nearby cave. Hexoc tried to escape numerous times waiting for his father to show up, but failed miserably each time. His attempts to escape got him mauled by this gang, leaving his skull mask severely scratched. Hexoc's father came with the ransom, but demanded that the group exit the cave with Hexoc before he handed over than ransom.

When Diamond, Piers, and Felix exited the cave, they were ambushed by Hexoc's father and a Gallade that Hexoc had never seen before. His father and the Gallade quickly freed Hexoc and began to attack the gang of outlaws. Hexoc had been running back to his village when he turned around and saw his father struck down by Felix. The Gallade quickly distanced himself from the Pokemon, grabbed Hexoc, and retreated to safety. When he thought they had lost the gang, he began to head back to the village.

When Hexoc and the Gallade reached the village, they found it ablaze. Due to the Gallade's help, none of the villagers were injured by the fire, and damage was minimized. The following morning the Gallade introduced himself as Walter, a Diamond Rank explorer specializing in bounty hunting. He had been hunting Diamond, Piers, and Felix, a gang of outlaws known as "Black Night". Walter offered to help the villagers rebuild the town, but they declined, not trusting Walter after the incident with Black Night.

As Walter turned to leave, Hexoc asked to join him and teach him to be an explorer. Walter agreed to let Hexoc accompany him, but told him that he couldn't teach him, but knew a good place to learn. One month later, they arrived in Haven, Walter spoke with Bronzong and got Hexoc into the guild. Walter soon left, telling Hexoc that he preferred to be unaffiliated.

Personality: Hexoc is reclusive soul, generally preferring to be by himself if possible. He actually likes people, but after the events with Black Night, he has become very wary of people he doesn't know.

Get past this isolation, and you find a fun-loving being, with a short fuse and interesting thought process. Hexoc enjoys making puns, much to the agony of most others. He is good at analyzing situations . . . When he actually takes the time to stop and think. He's highly impatient, and will quickly jump to conclusions. He also is incredibly easy to anger, which often nullifies any intelligence he could bring to a situation.

Moveset: Leer, Night Shade, Foresight, Disable, Astonish, Imprison

Tahni

Species:
Litleo

Gender:
Female

Time Spent at the Guild:
Two months

Appearance:
The tip of Tahni's tail is slightly fluffier than average. She occasionally combs the fluff into the shape of a star, similar to a Shinx's tail. A few inches above her paws, another patch of light brown fur grows in a circle around her legs, resembling bracelets.
History:
Like most Litleo, Tahni was raised in a pride. Though she thought herself to be a skilled protector and hunter, it was made clear to her that she would never be anything more than that; a very lowly hunter. Only male Pyroar/Luxray are allowed to lead prides, and as a female her job was to sit quietly and do what she was told, no matter what. This was an incredibly boring and aggravating life for Tahni, who dreamed of hunting more than berries, and fighting more than Patrats that were after their food. During the pride's winter migration to a more plentiful territory, Tahni heard more and more Pokemon discussing the guild: A place where Pokemon explored, and rescued, and fought criminals…and usually did it solo. The best part: Male and female Pokemon belonged to this guild, and were treated equally. Thus Tahni bid farewell to her family and pride and headed for this esteemed guild, certain this would be the perfect fit for a Pokemon like her.

Personality:

Personality: Tahni has some bad habits, namely; she's pushy and stubborn when it comes to her peers. In the prides backing down was a sign of weakness, and never wanting to appear weak, it will be her way or an ember to the face. Handling problems with a scratch or a fireball are also terrible habits she picked up from growing up in the pride. On the brighter side, she is incredibly respectful to those higher ranking, and can be a loyal ally to those she deems friends, or at least agrees with. She loves to spar and practice her moves with other guild members, and is excitedly waiting for her first mission where she will be allowed to track down a criminal on the run. There's a lot of bravery inside this fiery little cat.
Moveset:
Tackle, ember, headbutt, noble roar, fire spin, leer

I'll be back...

Also, nice Undertale reference through Kricketot and Kricketune. unless that was a coincedence...

Name: Vio

Species: Chikorita

Gender: Female

Appearance: Caramel colored leaf, neck thorns and tail along with a slightly beige body. (Shiny)

Time spent at the guild: 2 months

History: Vio was not normal. She didn't have powers that weren't her type and she had an average intelligence if not a little bit above. The only reason she was "not normal" compared to most Pokemon was that she was a shiny Pokemon. Born an orphan, Vio was taken in by a Venusaur who lived on the outskirts of Haven. Raised as more of a gardener than anything else, Vio was quite literally a flower child, spending hours and sometimes days tending to a small area of violets, roses, marigolds and other types of flowers that she lovingly grew. Every once in a while, Venusaur would take Vio to the city, where many Pokemon would compliment on Vio's color and comment on how pretty she was. For a time, Vio was absolutely happy to be alive, and was thankful she was blessed with the way she looked. Unfortunately, the most blessed Pokemon become the most cursed. While other Pokemon called Vio everything from "pretty" to "beautiful", almost all of them had a deep seated feeling of envy. It wasn't long before some Pokemon started hating Vio, believing they deserved to be shiny, and not her.
One day, Venusaur and Vio took one of their many trips into town. When they had arrived at Haven, Venusaur told Vio he forgot something at the den, and asked her to get most of the things they needed while he ran back. Vio agreed, enjoying the idea of freely exploring the town. A few hours would pass before Venusaur came back, apologizing to Vio and such for taking so long. They eventually finished their errands and headed back home.
When Venusaur and Vio returned to their den from the trip, Vio immediately noticed smoke coming from the area she kept her garden. Vio ran as quick as she could over there, and saw something that shattered her being. What she saw, was all of her flowers destroyed in 4 different ways. Vio saw multiple sections of burned flowers, flooded, frozen… And the most curious were the sections that were completely stomped on. Despite being a mess of grass and colorful petals,, Vio could barely make out footprints. She looked closer, and what she discovered shocked her even worse. She turned around and saw Venusaur standing behind her.
Then, Vio's world went black.
When Vio woke up, she was still in her destroyed garden, confirming that everything that happened was not a nightmare. Vio sat up, and cried. Being the first time she was ever truly sad or hurt, Vio could only cry, not knowing what else to do. When Vio finally stopped crying, she saw words written into the ground around her, and realized it was a note.
"Charizard, Milotic, Froslass and me, Venusaur. We all envied you. Be happy it was your flowers that died. Hunt us if you dare, you withered plant. – Chari, Lotus, Frost and Ven"
Vio at first, was confused. Why? Why was she betrayed? Then, Vio felt pure anger. The vines she used to care for the flowers, we're now used angrily to beat at the message engraved into the earth. Once Vio calmed down, she immediately went to Haven, muttering the names of the Pokemon who destroyed her garden, and the one she once called a father.
It's been two months since then. Vio joined the Haven Expedition Guild, knowing that she would be able to travel all over the place to aid her search, in exchange for helping out the guild. Vio has no problems with helping the guild, but still, to this day, Vio hunts for the four who didn't just destroy her garden, but her life as she knew it.

Personality: Because of the incident, Vio is a very shy girl who won't talk to anyone new without a really good reason. Vio also became increasingly paranoid with others, worried that she might be attacked or betrayed again. She has trouble connecting with other Pokemon, but once she's comfortable with someone, she tends to talk a little more. Despite having little to no trust in others, Vio does respect those who have proved themselves to her in some manner.
Vio has some battle experience in the few times she's had to protect her flowers from random Pokemon, but could still have trouble against smart opponents. She prefers to fight solo, which can sometimes be good, or bad. No matter what she does, Vio does it with determination, believing that only in getting stronger will she be able to fight Chari, Lotus, Frost and Ven.
Vio's main weakness would be her lack of faith in other Pokemon. Emotionally scarred from that incident, Vio will only rely on the Pokemon she respects. Even then, she stays completely on guard, making sure to protect herself at all costs. Working in teams proves stressful, but Vio will often focus on the task at hand to help with her constant paranoia.

Moves: Vine Whip, Tackle, Synthesis, Poison Powder and Razor Leaf.

Shape

Species:
Porygon
Gender:
Genderless
Time Spent at the Guild:
3 months
Appearance:
Shape looks like an ordinary Porygon; However, if you look very closely, there are a few slotches of slightly darker pink and blue just across a little bit of its body. It is unnoticable from afar and even from a somewhat long talking distance. If you look under the body of Porygon, you will see a scar that looks like a really long cut across its body.
History:
(Reference to PMD: R/B) Long long, ago when humans first inhabited the area, there was a scientist in his lab(Known in R/B as Decrepit Lab) who made many Porygon. Eventually, when the humans died off,(Reference End) some of these POrygon made a migration over to the current area. These Porygon (somehow) found a way to reproduce. Only a few Porygon have made it to this lifetime, and on of them was Shape. Born into a long line of a Porygon family, one day a tornado came and carried him away from its family as he was exploring the forest away from his house. Shape barely managed to survive, and it was a week before it was able to travel steadily and without pain. For weeks Shape then traveled, to nowhere in particular, loking for something or someone. Finally, it found the guild, and having nothing else to do and nowhere to go, applied to the guild.
After Shape was accepted to the guild, the others wanted to know its name. The Porygon said that it didnt have one, so after a few weeks, everybody started calling him Shape due to his exact edges and surfaces.
Personality:
It's hard to uncover Shape's personality, as Shape is genderless. Despite that, it still has plenty of traits and feelings if you look hard enough. It seems to be very shy towards other pokemon, as it has only known its family of Porygon. If you try to talk to Shape for the first time, it will generally not look at you and not talk, as it is generally shy towards other pokemon in general(because it has only lived with Porygon its whole life). But if you keep trying to talk with it, slowly it will start to acknowledge you. If you are a stranger, Shape will only talk if it is a must or requirement, like with Bronzong. However, if you can make friends with Shape, it seems somewhat happy to be around someone who actually acknowledges that it is actually worth something. When you do become its friend, Shape tends to act excited and really energetic near you, a contrast towards anybody else. Even though Shape has been in the guild for a couple of months, it strayed away from people that are not its friend and still does. Shape also to travel alot, and when there is no exploration going on, Shape will travel to the market and buy things it doesnt really need, but only does it for the sake of traveling somewhere.

I'm assuming the answer is yes, but after a Mystery Dungeon is made open, will we be able to revisit it later in the RP provided it doesn't interfere or conflict with the overall story? Still joining regardless, just curious.

For all of you folks somewhat new to the RPT. You may see people make fancy profiled with borders, colors and images. This is called CSS and it allows you to create your own "pretty profiles" using simple code.

For those of you whom would like to try this "CSS" for yourselves while making your PMD profile I have provided some very basic CSS for you. This code will allow you to put your SU on a simple yet effective template that will make it look nicer for some purely aesthetic flair. Simply copy in all the relevant information into the code below. <3

HTML:
[CENTER][cd=width: 600px; Background-color: white; border-top: solid 8px black; border-bottom: solid 10px black; border-radius: 12px; padding-left: 8px; padding-right: 8px;][color=black]

Here's what the CSS looks like when posted. <3

Spoiler:

If you feel like tweaking this and reverse-engineering the CSS to create your own version? Then please, we encourage you to do that as well.

actually, no. this RP functions as a journey, so once we leave an area, you will not be able to revisit it under normal conditions. perhaps if you have a certain plot idea, you can discuss it with the GMs and have it approved, though.

Well I made an *Generic Censor* out of u and me.(Bad Jokes are my life blood)
Although not what I expected, thanks for answering quickly, nice to know this ahead of time.

Question. I read through the post and didn't really find anything outright stating this, although I can assume it is so. Still, I'd like to check. Does your Pokemon have to be the lowest stage in its evolutionary line? Say, would you have to start as a Pichu instead of a Pikachu?

i also just noticed we forgot to mention this, but i'll add it straight away. similar to how you can have learnset moves uptil level 15, your starting Pokémon can be anything that can feasibly be evolved at level 15. so baby Pokémon like Azurill and Pichu can be evolved once, too.

Question: I know that you said moves up to level 15, but I was wondering if there could be a little leeway regarding learning Psybeam seeing as how a) the level it occurs is at 17 and b) it is a starting move in Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon for Fennekin.

Terra

Species:
Cubone

Gender:
Female

Time Spent at the Guild:
One Week

Appearance:
Because of her slight lack of combat readiness, Terra tends to be a bit smaller and scrawnier than most other Cubone. Oddly enough, she also has violet colored eyes as opposed to the black or red eyes often seen of her species.

History:
Terra was one of three siblings who were left to fend for themselves in the world. She was the youngest of the three, and the only female to boot. Ever since she could remember, Terra often walked in the shadows of her older brothers, Cid and Marrow. Both of them were strong and dependable leaders (in her mind). While Cid was a hard-headed, cold, forceful Cubone, Marrow was often the more kind of the duo. He often took it upon himself to tend to Terra's needs, being much more aware of her rather tender nature than that of the eldest brother.

Despite the three being together, all was not well in the group. Cid and Marrow often butted heads over Terra. Cid constantly claimed how Marrow's constant babying of her was making her a weak and defenseless creature, while Marrow defended the poor female Cubone. He often claimed that all she needed was more time and a little patience, and she would soon blossom and come to be a reliable member of their group. Cid often scoffed at the very idea, something that did not go unnoticed by Terra.

As time progressed and the three continued to grow, Terra's nature and dependency on her brothers did not seem to lessen any. Cid's judgement upon her seemed to only worsen day by day, and while Marrow tried to defend her as best as he could, Terra was slowly starting to see the regret in his eyes. One day while the three were gathering berries, disaster finally struck. They were attacked by a ferocious and unruly Fearrow. Marrow and Terra were separated from Cid, and the male Cubone did everything in his power to try and fend off the bird. Marrow's power alone was not enough to chase it off, however. He cried out for Terra to help him, but the little Cubone was just too timid and afraid to help. Luckily, Cid was able to arrive and help Marrow, though not without the middle brother being hurt in the process. Together, the two brothers managed to drive off the Fearrow, while Terra could only stand and watch in fear.

Cid was greatly angered by the fact that Terra did nothing to help. Terra turned to Marrow to help her like usual when Cid started to fuss and point out the flaws of her ways, but not even he seemed to have anything to say in her defense. Finally accepting this as Marrow's agreement of Terra's liability, Cid banished her from their group and left the poor, timid Cubone all alone in the world.

For some time, Terra wandered about all alone. She never really stayed in one spot for very long, and due to her ways of not being able to really defend herself, food and shelter were sometimes few and far between. During one of her wanderings, Terra overheard a group of Pokémon discussing the guild. She heard it was a place where brave Pokémon gathered to explore, fight evil, and in general just helped those in need. While Terra was not one to jump to any rash decisions, she saw a golden opportunity with this guild. Perhaps she could join it, and gather the courage and strength she needed to prove to her brothers that she was not useless after all...

Personality:
Terra is an extremely quiet, somewhat bashful little Cubone. While she is a confident fighter in her own right, this Cubone prefers to try and find any other means possible to solve a conflict. She quite often thinks things over before making any decisions, constantly trying to weigh the positives and negatives of a situation before acting on impulse. While this is merely a reflection of her peaceful and careful nature, it can easily be seen by others as Terra being a bit of a coward as well. She can become easily flustered when put on the spot, and ends up spending more time than not on her own. Terra has a soft spot for flowers, and when she finds herself anxious about something, she prefers to spend her time picking them in order to soothe her troubled soul.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

tyrunt.gif

Name: King

Pokémon Species: Tyrunt

Gender: Male

Time Spent at the Guild: Nine months

Appearance: Shiny Tyrunt. Otherwise, normal-looking.

History: King's family is a well-known family in their area, being leaders for many generations. King was the youngest of three children. He was born special, however, as he was born of a color really different from the regular Tyrunts. Instead of the usual brown coloring, King's body was entirely blue in color. There are very few cultures that doesn't view being shiny as something special, and Tyrantrum culture is not one of them. King's mother dotes on the little boy and immediately go as far as calling him "his special kid." This surprisingly doesn't elicit jealousy from King's older brothers as their father dotes on the other two, grooming them as his heirs to the "throne" as ruler and primary adviser.

In King's mind, this should not hold. Despite being the youngest of the three, he was the most special since he has been gifted with the unusual coloring. However, it is always the eldest child of the current ruler to inherit the position. Being the youngest gives you last priority and King doesn't want to accept that. Despite his mother's protests to stick to tradition, King gave his father his piece of mind and it was immediately rebuked. His father maintained his solid position that his eldest son should follow him.

"I don't say that you are not fit to rule. You're smart and you're strong. However, you're young and that is where this discussion ends," his father told him. King blatantly questioned the reasoning behind the choice his father made. He vowed to go out and prove to his father, and to everybody, that it's not always the eldest who deserves the seat.

Sometimes, the younger but blue ones can rule better.

He went out in secret, not telling either of his parents when he stumbled upon the guild. He saw it as a chance to prove his worth as a leader so he signed up. It has been almost year since he started as an apprentice and almost a year since he last saw his family. However, the only thought going on in King's mind is how to excel inside the guild and show his father how good a leader he can be.

Personality:

First and foremost, being raised in a household of "royalty," King exudes an air of regality. However, this is usually seen as a bad characteristic by most as King is known to always let others realize how special he is because of his unusual color. He talks to most of the guild members, especially new ones, as if he is a far more superior Pokemon than them. He gives respect only to few Pokemon ranked higher than him.

His snobbish attitude led to him being quite solitary in nature. While his attitude towards work is exemplary, King doesn't really have the proper skills to socialize and get to know other people outside the guild activities. However, this doesn't bother him any bit at all as he is focused on his goal to be a great leader.

"I can't do that if I'm tied down having fun with friends."
