Welcome. This is the portal that leads you to the world of Pokémon. Beyond this gateway, many new adventures and fresh experiences await your arrival. Only Pokémon inhabit this world. There are no trainers, nor will there be in the course of this roleplay. Be strong, stay smart. And be victorious!
You are a Pokémon that has been somehow ended up in the village of Pokémon Plaza, and fairly recently, you achieved your goal of joining the Plaza Adventurers League. The guild is... a bit less... official than some of its counterparts, largely in part due to its founder, a peculier Normal/Dragon type Pokémon called Drampa, and his right-hand and secretary (also not so secretly the guy who does all the official buisness while Drampa sleeps for 18 hours a day), Toucannon. The guild aims to educate and train young Pokémon into becoming full-fledged Explorers; Pokémon that are fit to go into Mystery Dungeons, carry out quests and rescues and sometimes even explore completely new areas.

Spoiler:
→ The Guild
The Guild hall is home to the Adventurer league, it is also where everyone meets for daily meetings and have dinner every night. The job board is located here, worked on and kept up to date by Toucannon, as well as Klefki's appraisal where guild members can store things.
In the back of the building is the room of the guild master Drampa, asleep in his strange cloud bed for the majority of the day.
-Toucannon Sam is a wise assistant leader of the Plaza Aventure League. To be fair, he essentially runs the entire guild as his boss is a bit of an incompetent. However Sam is very happy with helping out his guildmaster as the two seem to have history together.
-Eldred Drampa isn't actually nearly as old as he appears, but he never bothers to correct anyone who makes the mistake. Drampa founded the Plaza Adventure League and he remains its guildmaster to this day, despite spending most of his time sleeping and letting his assistant do most of the work. However, Eldred is still well respected among the town, and makes sure to at least give his guild members a motivational speech every day.
-Klefki Krynn is a retired explorer herself. She has since come to work for the Adventurer league in the hopes to strike it rich off of using her collection of keys to unlock any ancient treasure boxes that the guild members come acrost. She's a caring Pokemon who likes to make friends and help people with her unique talents.
→ The Minior Inn and cafe
The Minior inn has a room reserved for all the guild members. It is run by a blue Minior and a Komala, as well as a cafe run by Alola Rattata and Alola Marowak where you can order juice and fizzy drinks while watching a real life fire dancer.
-Polū Minior is a happy go lucky Pokemon who runs the local inn, along with his pal Hiamoe Komala. Polu likes to tell jokes and eat, often frequenting the cafe on his breaks at the front desk.
-Hiamoe Komala is a strange Pokemon, Able to work while sleeping, nobody is even sure if he is ever awake. However he manages to do his job quite well, and has been a good friend of Polu for many years.
-Raton is an Alolan Rattata. He LOVES food, and is known as the best chef in all of Plaza. Overall he is a friendly guy with a great nose for talent, and often points customers he thinks would be good fits for the guild on their way.
-Fuego is an Alolan Marowak. Originally hired by Polu and Raton in order to boost sales by providing a real life fire dancer, Fuego has since become a staple in the Plaza community. He often volunteers to help anywhere he can as he believes that good things come to those who give.
→ Meowstick's Mercantile
The general store in the town is run by the twin Meowsticks, where you will be able to buy consumables that you might need when you're out and about. Their store is generally well stocked, and occasionally they'll even get rare items for the intrepid adventurer.
-Hocus, the older sister of the pair, sells general items such as berries and gummi's. She is a friendly individual who simply enjoys helping people out.
-Pocus, the younger brother of the pair, sells Orbs, TM's, and exclusive items. He is an energetic kid who really loved to sell things and get his hands on shiny things.
→ Elgyem Remembers
-Elgyem is a very, VERY, wierd pokemon. She runs a stall where she can teach a Pokemon any move it could plausibly know at its current 'level'. While most of what she says makes no sense to your ordinary Pokemon, she can help you relearn moves you have forgotten, or with the help of special items, learn new moves entirely. These include any TM/HM or egg moves.

Mystery Dungeons:
Mystery Dungeons are a unique phenomenon that somehow causes random locations in the world to be completely randomized whenver one enters. Meaning that you can find new loot every time you go in, but also that the layout of the floors may be completely different. It is because of this that adventure guilds are so popular, and these are where you will be doing most of your adventuring! A list of the known Mystery Dungeons will be saved here.

Mechanics:
This story will occur in Arcs, starting with the player characters joining the guild as new recruits. The guild will generally have a set task that it needs to achieve every arc, this can be considered the main quest, while occasionally missions not related to the main quest of that arc might arise. These will be side quests of sorts, which will have no real bearing on the story, but will likely have good loot and will likely be a great way to develop characters.

on MOVES:
Spoiler:
New moves are learned at the GM's discretion, however if you feel like it is time for you to learn a new move, please (politely) ask in the OOC and I will judge whether or not your pokemon has earned it. Moves will be learned in order according to the S&M movepool, and I will keep track of what level your Pokemon should be in the OOC.
on EVOLUTION:
Spoiler:
For reasons unknown, something has tampered with the ability for Pokemon to evolve. Perhaps this has to do with the mysterious outbreak of Mystery Dungeons, or perhaps it is a completely unrelated mystery you will have to solve.
on ITEMS:
Spoiler:
Every mystery dungeon will come with two lists of items. One which you can recieve in general posts, this will be considered "Common" loot, while the other will be awarded by completing goals or tasks. This will be known as "Rare" loot. 1 common loot may be obtained per 800 words spent in a dungeon, while "Rare" loot will be awarded based on points that I will hand out if you do something really good within a post.
