    After the Adversary forced the fables out of their Homelands, they've been trying their best to get used to their new life. All seemed well in Fabletown for quite a while . . . until the Crooked Crew started brewing up trouble.

    The Crooked Crew, an underground organization seeking to control Fabletown using power and money from the shadows, has been making bolder and bolder moves, killing anyone that dares to speak their secrets.

    Bigby wolf, and the other residents of Fabletown must fight this corruption, or die trying.
    [a id]1[/a id]Mechanics
    By now most of you are fairly familiar with the mechanics of mafia games. If this happens to be the first game you're signing up for, I suggest you take a look at The Beginner's Guide and get well acquainted with the rules before you proceed any further.

    This particular game will deal with a percentage rate of success on all actions, depending on who targets whom. If a canonically weak character tries to harm a canonically strong character, it will have a high chance of failure. Conversely, if a strong character targets a weak character, the success rate will be much higher. There are a few exceptions to this rule, but that's a secret for now.

    A currency system and a shop will also be included in this game. The Items that can be bought include:
    • Knife
      • Description: Inflicts Bleeding upon any target.
      • Cost: $500 for Townies; $750 for Mafia
      • Average Success Rate: 25%
    • Gun
      • Description: Can be shot at any other player in order to potentially kill them.
      • Cost: $750 for Townies; $1,000 for Mafia
      • Average Success Rate: 50%
    • Vest
      • Description: Decreases all killing success rates against the holder by 50%.
      • Cost: $1,000 for Townies; $1,250 for Mafia
    Players will get paid depending on their activity, post relevancy, contribution and "good" plays.
    Players will also have money taken away for participating in "sheep-like" behavior, or for missing night actions and votes.

    All action PMs must be sent to both Nimsy and Syndrome, with the message subject including your role and the phase number. If it is an item action, it must be specified in the title.
    Example: Bigby Wolf sends in his action for Night Zero. The message should be titled "Bigby Wolf Night Zero Action." If Bigby uses a gun during Day One, the message title would be "Bigby Wolf Day One Gun Action."​

    This game will use the action [b]ARREST[/b] [i]Player[/i] for voting during the day. Votes can be changed up to two times, preferably by editing the post that contained the initial vote.

    Fabletownies


    Bigby Wolf This "lone wolf" serves as Fabletown's sheriff and investigator. Every night he can choose a player to investigate. Bigby can not be Arrested, and a jail kill will not work on him. He can also survive two "successful" kills.

    Snow White She serves as Fabletown's secretary. She can choose to save one person from a lynch once in the game. If she happens to be killed, the next day everyone will be in mourning and there will not be a lynch, nor will anyone be jailed.

    Bluebeard A former serial killer and Fabletown's jailer. If there is no lynch, he can choose someone to jail and interrogate; it is also up to him if the person he jailed lives or not.

    The Magic Mirror The magic mirror in Fabletown's mayoral office has the ability to see all goings-on in Fabletown. One may see what the mirror sees if they ask the proper question, in the form of a rhyme. Fabletown residents must be in majority to ask a question once every other day.

    Bufkin The drunken flying monkey in charge of the Woodland's library. If any non-killing action is used on him, it will be nullified.

    Colin The "little" pig whose house was made of straw, which the big bad wolf just had to go and blow down. He uses this to guilt trip Bigby into letting him stay at his apartment. He knows the identity of Bigby at the start of the game, and vice-versa.

    Beauty Beast's loving wife. If Beast would happen to die, she would be so overcome with grief that she would opt to take her own life. If Beast is arrested, she will lock herself away.

    Beast Beauty's loving husband. If Beauty happens to die, he will enter a fit of rage and gain the ability to kill every day and night phase until either the member of the Crooked Crew that made the hammer vote, or everyone that opted for her arrest, is dead. If he does not perform a kill during this fit of rage, he will fall into a deep depression and end his life.

    Dr. Swineheart Fabletown's appointed physician. He may choose to protect someone every night, although there are some limitations. If Beast enters his rage, Doctor Swineheart will be the only one that can stop his rampage.

    Icabod Crane The smarmy, nasty mayor of Fabletown. If the Fabletownies manage to get rid of all of the Crooked Crew and achieve their win condition, he will snatch the victory right out from under their noses.

    Holly The owner of the bar known as "the Trip Trap." She will not be able to be killed at night as long as Grendel is alive.

    Grendel This son of cane works at "the Trip Trap" with Holly. He is extremely loyal to Holly and will kill anyone who tries to hurt her. If Holly happens to be lynched, he will kill the hammer vote; if she is shot or stabbed, he will kill the perpetrator and hide himself away (gaining immunity to lynches). If anyone targets him (non-killing abilities or otherwise) after Holly dies, they will be killed.

    The Woodsman An abrasive fellow that filled Bigby's stomach full of rocks and threw him into the river back in the Homelands. He is prone to violent outbursts, and has the ability to target two people per game to kill.

    Mr. Toad A slumlord and the father of TJ. If he is voted to be lynched, he and TJ will be sent to the Farm instead.

    Toad Jr. (TJ) The son of Mr. Toad, who has a fascination with bugs. If he is the target of the Crooked Crew, the town, or an individual, he will be placed in protective custody. If this happens, he can still contribute to day conversations, but can no longer vote.

    Prince Lawrence Faith's devoted husband. If Faith dies, he will end his own life.

    The Crooked Crew


    The Crooked Man The leader of the Crooked Crew and a man with a silver tongue. His vote in mafia meetings counts as two and he has the ability to overturn an arrest once.

    Bloody Mary A heartless and fierce adversary. If she happens to be a target of a kill in any way, or if she's arrested, she will become an unkillable serial killer. She cannot be killed by a member of the Crooked Crew in order to activate this ability. Additionally, if she attacks Bigby, she will die permanently, but she may potentially bring him down with her. Beware of mirrors.

    Dee The brothers Dee and Dum work together, and are useless apart. As long as they are both alive, they may shoot one person during the game, and may investigate another player to learn their role each night. If Dum dies, Dee loses his abilities.

    Georgie Porgie Owner of the "Pudding and Pie." He has the ability to potentially kill four players of his choice during the game, but he cannot target the same person twice.

    Vivian The girlfriend of Jorgie and the co-owner of the "Pudding and Pie." She has the ability to give out ribbons every other night. These ribbons make any subject Vivian wants taboo. If the wearer of the ribbon reaches the subject, they must say "these lips are sealed," and nothing else about it. If the wearer does not abide by these rules, or tries to find a loophole, they will die instantly. If Vivian dies, the ribbons will lose their power.

    Jersey Has the ability to choose from a knife or a gun to give to any player. The items he gives have a 30% chance of backfiring and a -20% chance of them succeeding. The items must be used within three days, or they will self-destruct, killing the holder.

    Aunty Greenleaf An old and skilled witch that makes black market glamours. Once per night she can give a member of the crooked crew a glamour to make them appear innocent on any investigations made on them during the same night. If she is the last member of the crooked crew, she will win with the town.

    The Underlings

    They will always appear guilty, and can win with the person that ties them to secrecy. They do not count towards the Crooked Crew gaining majority, and they have no actions of their own.​

    Pudding and Pie workers. They all overhear the goings on at the Pudding and Pie.
    Lilly Holly's sister. Starts off with a ribbon.

    Faith Prince Lawrence's wife. Starts off with a ribbon.

    Nerissa A little mermaid. Starts off with a ribbon.

    Hans Eye candy and security. He cannot disclose any information he overhears until Vivian and Jorgie die.​

    Other Underlings
    Johann the Butcher He butchers things. Overhears the goings on at the butcher shop. Cannot disclose any information until Bloody Mary dies.

    Tiny Tim A poor cripple boy that is eternally grateful to the Crooked Man for giving him a job. He overhears what happens at the Crooked Man's place. He cannot disclose any information until the Crooked Man is dead.

    Jack He's nimble, he's quick. Jack can only overhear what Jersey says. He cannot disclose anything he over hears until Jersey dies.

    Flycatcher A naive weirdo. He can overhear what Dum and Dee talk about, but can't disclose any information until they die.​
