It's actually been in my signature for ages. I retake it every now and then and it changes a bit, though, mainly because my opinions change every now and then. I think I actually have a newer one than the one in my signature that's more patriotic, more progressive, and less liberal.
(Edit: I've updated the link in my signature after retaking the test.)
I link it in my signature because I think it provides a good sense of where I'm at politically
- for economic issues, I tend to favor private-sector solutions, but I recognize the potential for abuse with these kinds of solutions and the strong need for oversight (who provides the oversight is an open question, though)
- I think obviously international politics is relatively complex and requires more nuance than just "ignore everyone but ourselves," but I do think we should try to prioritize our own needs when possible (sometimes helping others is in our best interest, though)
- I favor liberty when possible, though I think some degree of power needs to be delegated to the state in order to ensure peoples' rights aren't violated
- I strongly favor forward-thinking solutions, though I may not always agree on what form those solutions might take; I also don't think religion and tradition are meaningless (quite the opposite, there's a lot to learn from them), I just think that we should use our own sensibilities and reasoning to make decisions and not give the old ways undue preference
