    Details
    Make an icon with vintage as the theme. This can be anything you want as a subject. Make an icon of a vintage book or furniture, or make an icon of your favorite anime appear vintage. Entries should be judged on who best captured the theme of vintage. You'll have one week to make your icon, in which you must post here along with your stock, and one week for voting.


    Rules

    // All entries must at or under 120x120 pixels.
    // You must post your original stock/render.
    // Limit: One entry per person.
    // Your entry must be relevant to the current theme.
    // You may edit your icons once you have posted them.
    // All entries must be made during the time period.
    // No mediums that are not graphic art.
    // Do not vote for yourself upon voting stages.

    Okay so maybe this is spam, but shhh. I'm hoping to participate in this myself so consider this a placeholder.
     
    I'll probably extend the deadline a bit so more people can participate, just so everyone knows. Haven't decided yet since there's still time, but I want to make sure at least five people get up in this. :)

    Tried my hand at some commercial-like poster on a wooden background. withered my sun and ripped a little. All on a vintage base.

    Here's the source images used, collected in a handy moodboard;

    So I started by just typing in vintage on Google Images to see what I liked. Here was the result of that resource.

    Then, I moved on to think of someone to put on it. I figured, an iconic woman from the past... hmm. Marilyn Monroe. So I searched for her. I was lucky enough to find her on a vintage chest!
