Don't worry, if you went out of your way to make insane amounts of posts, your efforts won't be in vain! Remember that "secret" PokéTrivia emblem I mentioned? :D Not gonna leak any more than that! xD

Okay, everyone! The results are all set now!

Let's all congratulate Hikamaru, FireSnow, and The Ghost of You Know Who for winning 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place respectively! You three deserve a HUGE round of applause for all the blood and sweat you've poured into this event! In addition to that, I would also like to thank everyone for taking the time to participate in our ice cream blowout! The Pokémon Trivia section hasn't felt this alive in quite a long time, and literally all of you have helped re-build the PokéTrivia spirit!

I personally had a TON of fun with this event (thanks to all of you), but it's a shame I wasn't able to be around for much of the second week. From what I've observed, it seems the first half of this event moved at a noticeably slower pace, and the last few days seemed pretty exhausting for those of you who were competing for the top throne, eheh. Sorry if I ended up wearing you guys down!

As I've said in the opening post, this event was a testing ground for a much larger event coming in the future, which I admittedly doubted myself about running. Thankfully, I've found quite a lot of the answers I've been looking for in this event, so I'm hoping all will go well for that future large-scale event!

I'll leave this thread open for discussion until it naturally dies off. If there was anything you liked or didn't like about this event, let me know! The "large-scale event" I mentioned will most likely be a once-in-a-lifetime thing (or maybe even a once-per-year thing), but there will certainly be more ice cream blowouts in the future if I'm still around! That being said, I wouldn't mind taking into account any feedback or suggestions from this one! :D

Anyway, that's all, folks! I'll try to get all of the emblems handed out tomorrow, though the 3rd place emblem might come a bit later than that! Thanks so much for everything, and I hope you had as much fun as I did! Peace out!

I found this event quite a challenge in itself, to the point I had to pay tons of attention to PokeTrivia alone that it sucked a lot of my activity elsewhere, but it definitely paid off. Ghost and FireSnow, you two definitely got me on my toes but well done to everyone else who took part as well.

And this is the first event of any kind that I have actually won on this forum. I did come close to winning 5th Gen's Reshiram Vs Zekrom had it not been for a last-gasp charge from Rivvon to guide Reshiram to victory.

Personally, I think Ice Cream Blowout was a fun event in overall, and this gives me a chance to try some Pokétrivia threads that I haven't thought to do before. I hope there is more event like this, maybe we can make Pokémon Trivia more active this way! And congrats to Hikari for winning, and also FireSnow and The Ghost of You Know Who for making in Top 3 :)
 
Oh, yeah, this event was a BLAST! Thanks to this event I got out of my own comfort zone and started going to other threads! It was a real fun event. Let's just hope we don't have ninja wars as chaotic as this one.
 
Even though I got totally wrecked (blame a seemingly infinite number of essays), I must say I had tons of fun in this event. Many of my favorite games had only a low activity but that ice cream tag makes wonders happen. #yesbecauseicecream
For serious, I've said this already, but with this activity brought back, I feel like a second generation #TeamTrivia has risen here and I hope we can keep it up. Good job everyone and congratulations to the winners! :D I'll try to be not jealous over Nichole and her Sanshrew emblem...

Are we talking about the Sandshrew Exerm- I mean, Pokémon Trivia Award?
 
It made me check out games that I'd never posted in before or even knew existed! Wasn't aiming for top places since I knew there'd be people with more free time on their hands than I do but it was still quite fun and addictive to keep posting and participating~
 
I got to come back and get readdicted to this place when I probably wouldve just come back and eventually slowed down again, on the other hand I started late and Im a super competitive so I got very tired and this was truely some kind of expierience! :'D Im really looking forward to another blowout as long as it isnt too near in the future! :'D
 
Man, while it was hectic, it was still really fun! This event got me playing games I thought were too hard or I didn't feel like playing (namely the Pokename Game). I wish I didn't slack off towards the end. Great idea Revise!
