Question Of The Day #2 [Week #1: Apocalypse]: "It's the zombie apocalypse. Zombies are everywhere and you must get to your safe house which is across the city. You open up your closet to pick out your favorite weapon to use to get to the safe house. What is your weapon of choice?"

Welcome to the new and improved Question of the Day! Every Monday through Friday a new question will be proposed each day that fits a theme for the week. Currently, the theme for the week is The Apocalypse, where throughout the week we will be talking about any and all things related to the end of all days. Your friends laughed at you for buying a weapon for the zombie apocalypse, but now you are the one who is laughing as you watch your friends zombified on the corner of the street nearby. Whether it's a type of gun or melee weapon of your choice, you are lock and loaded to get to the safe house 2 miles down the road. What kind of weapon did you choose to survive the oncoming onslaught? Let us know in the comments below!

Would hope these are the typical slow zombie. Not the speedy ones like in 28 days/i am legend etc.

Obviously need to think of a few factors such as sound, weight etc.
I'd go with a crossbow, accurate and plenty of power to drop a zombie. Reload time would be main concern. If we can pick multiple? would also carry a spear, lightweight, easy to use, long distance. Perhaps some sound makers aswell, toss them to distract/lead zombies away.

I'd probably go with the stereotypical chainsaw, I could mow three several zombies at once and it does give me a bit of distance too.

Tempted to go with a chainsaw or firearm but ultimately they need a power source or ammo which are finite resources in a zombie apocalypse. I think something like an axe or a spear or something would be good.

I'd craft a bioweapon that only targets the undead. And then spray it like there's actually a tomorrow.

Prolly just my shitty replica swords that break after a single hit. Add some shades to that and let the fun begin!
