Event 2025 Reading Challenge!

Is it too late to join this? I know I probs won't get around to it much... but I do want to try and read more. x.x I have a way of tracking with a book thingy (which I'll show after this). I think my goal will be five books. If I manage to go past five, I'll increase it... we'll see! :D I'll just go with that since it takes me a LOT to actually read something these days. ;o;

The images are also pretty big, so I'm going to put them as attachment. :3 I'm probably going to start by reading the one I got from my cousin. It's called Flight Girls by Noelle Salazar!

Yeah... hopefully I can start reading soon. The book I'm going to read is a good starting point since my camp nano story has to do with the love interest being an Iraq Vet (in other words, both my story and the book have a war type theme).
 
3 months in and I finally finished the book I was reading.
Avenging Son by Guy Haley has been finished. Up next I have Kallocain by Karin Boye on my to read list so starting that one now.
I'm hoping it'll be much less time given it's about 1/5th the size of the 40K book I was on. As well as travelling for work meaning I'll have lots of time to read on trains so now the catching up truly begins!
 
I think I'll start with a book a month, so twelve!

So far in the year I've completed two books: The Courage to Be Disliked and The Courage to Be Happy by Fumitake Koga and Ichiro Kishimi.
For my third book currently in progress, I'm going political with How to Stand Up to a Dictator by Maria Ressa.
Once I finish this book, I'll delve back into the Hunger Games universe with The Sunrise on the Reaping.
