Yeah, as my birthday is coming up this month, I'm getting very excited. I have been counting the days for a few weeks and told all my family members/friends about it. However, one of my friends said that he didn't really bother about his own birthday and that it was like any other day for him.

So I was wondering, what do you guys think about your own birthday? Do you get excited or have you even forgotten about it once? Do you throw a party on that day or don't you even invite friends?

I don't care much for my birthdays and have only done small things with my family/close friends to celebrate them.

Birthdays were important to me when I was a kid... they're not anymore!

Awhh, I've always wanted an October birthday. D:

I get partially excited. I don't do much for my birthday so it's not a big thing anymore. My extended family members are annoying and my friends tend to annoy me after a while too so I haven't thrown myself a birthday party in two or three years. I don't know if that sounds sad... but it's really not! :D

My birthday was on a school day this year and a lot of people ended up wishing me a happy birthday and a few close friends made me cards which was nice. Then when I came home I had cake and opened a couple presents from my parents. I'm honestly happy with just that. I don't need to big party to keep me entertained.

To be honest, I only get excited for one and only one reason, which is money. I get a lot of money from my family and relatives, and clothes and stuff from my friends.

When it's near my birthday (like it is now) it's always the first thing I think of everyday when I wake up. I still get excited over my birthday nowadays as I did when I was younger. Though I don't have parties and such since my family live too far away. I either just go out for a meal with my friends or sit in.

After you turn 18, birthdays just feel so insignificant. :[

I lol'd at the title as I do that every time. I'm not a person who really gets excited about my birthday I do when it's closer to the month of my birthday, but if it is in Summer, I'm not going to get excited that my birthday is soon when it's all the way in December. Really I don't do anything for my birthday that I can get excited about as it is so close to Christmas, so I can't really have a party until January and everyone has no money to give presents to me because of Christmas shopping at the time, not that I mind at all.

For me, its just another day. One more year closer to death, nothing to be excited about.

Birthdays were always the best days out of the year growing up, whether they were mine or my brothers'. There's something about them that's just magical. Holidays don't hold a candle to birthdays.

I'm older now, but my opinion hasn't changed. Sadly though, few others my age care about birthdays like I do, and I'm easily disappointed upon finding that I'm the only really enthused person on my birthday or even on a friend's. So many people have that pessimistic 'closer to death' or 'oh no I'm getting old' attitude. Kind of a shame :/

My birthday this year (which was last Wednesday) was a good one, though :3

I think the last birthday I actually acknowledged was my 14th birthday, I can't remember the last time I actually did something special because of it.

Still nice to see people say happy birthday though.

Yes, I do care because I get to see my family and get a lot of stuff.

I wait all year long just for my birthday to come, believe it or not I even count the days until it is, even though it's in November, they mean a lot to me, 'cause I love all the stuff I get on that day, enjoy my time with the family(well usually) and birthday wishes from my dear friends of mine, I hope my birthday this year will turn out to be better than the other two previous years before that.

My birthday just passed by around a month ago. I just did a small party with family and friends. I wasn't too excited, even on the eve of my birthday. They're not as big as I would imagine them to be as a kid. And I don't get too excited either. I just wake up on the day, go "Yay..." and go to the kitchen to get myself a cup of coffee. My birthday used to be the happiest day of the year for me when I was younger, and they were much more fun and I too, would be more excited about it. :(

My Birthday, is one of the most exciting days of the year. Presents! Mostly money actually, but whatever, I usually get something nice as well. It is usually a lovely day as well. So I enjoy my birthday greatly, and look forward to it after the other one has gone.

Birthdays are just like any other day. I don't like spending time with the family, which is often what ends up happening.. I don't have a real party because, well, no one I would invite would actually show up... I am fine with just getting money from people..

My birthday usually ends up being like any other day, but I still look forward to it every year. Cause, well, it's the day I cam into existence. =D

ONLY 12 MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!!!
