VS Volkner
Torterra had a field day with raichu and octillery and luxray. Lucario finished off Ambipom.
got waterfall taught to Whiscash, went to victory road. decided to do some training now rather than later (i was in the low 40s) grinded everyone to level 45-47 (sneasel and typhlosion at Snowpoint City, Lopunny and her new Charge Beam at the route before sunnyshore. same with Torterra. Lucario and Whiscash at the entrance to Victory Road)
Got through victory road. went back and got Blizzard TM For lopunny (secret weapon). also had a spare heart scale from my previous digging for Fossils and taught newly evolved Weavile night slash. on the way back swung by Lake Valor and caught Azelf after about 20 timer balls.
VS Barry
Staraptor went down to typhlosion easily, floatzel was easy for torterra. infernape was fairly easy for whiscash, took a close combat and Earthquaked back. next came roserade which typhlosion handled easily, heracross ate a flamethrower and died. leaving Lucario to finish off Snorlax.

Typhlosion sweep. literally typhlosion sweep. Torterra nearly took down drapion but ice fang crit. Typhlosions swept em all.
VS Bertha
Replace typhlosion with whiscash. Torterra took out the initial Quagsire and incoming Whiscash but then my Whiscash took out her Golem, Hippowdon and Sudowoodo
VS Flint
Whiscash took out the rapidash and after a fierce fight with infernape ending in a Mach Punch crit. it died. Typhlosion took a chunk with strength and flamethrower finished it. weavile fought hard against drifblim before he swapped for lopunny. Lucario took it down to yellow with aura sphere then ate a fire punch crit and died. typhlosion saves the day again by flamethrowering it and OHKOing steelix. lastly weavile came in again and finished drifblim.
VS Lucian
Weavile took down Mr Mime with a pair of Night Slash. Medicham OHKOd torterra with ice punch then kept spamming fire punch on whiscash for some reason, eventually i took it to yellow and he finally used drain punch to finish me off. leave it to typhlosion to save the day. a couple of flamethrowers put away bronzong and weavile 2HKOd girafarig and took a crunch, then he missed focus blast with Alakazam and night slash took about half. energy ball took me to yellow and a second night slash finished Alakazam.
VS Cynthia
Damn this was tough. as she always is
Weavile night slashed spiritomb for a crit and some good damage. got 2HKOd by silver wind. Torterra finished with Crit Earthquake. lucario was next and i took a dragon pulse well and took him to red with an EQ. she healed and an EQ crit finished it off. milotic took me down with ice beam leaving me in a bit of a bind. lucario got some DEF drops with rock smash allowing lopunny to come in and finish with jump kick followed by return. then the big kahuna himself. Garchomp.
Shredded my team down to the last. i was reviving between pokes hoping for SOMETHING to happen, did hit an aura sphere on it one time when it used giga impact. then i got my break. it finished lucario with giga impact and lopunny came in. blizzard hit. and got Freeze! sitrus berry, blizzard took it down again, return did a chunk to make sure she didnt heal it, and a third blizzard finished it off. revived torterra and OHKOd gastrodon with razor leaf. foddered torterra and lopunny reviving Typhlosion as roserade took em down with Sludge bomb, and a quick Flamethrower finished roserade and ended the battle. but MAN was that hard. and i'm not done yet. still got some scavenger challenges to do

AoTora, I'd say that the "RBGY users may use a Pokemon who received a baby form in future games." applies in FRLG, considering the need to have beaten the League to access the only egg in the game (AND the daycare), and... I dunno, but maybe wigglytuff counts as a rabbit with those ears?

Challenge complete!

Final Update (#2) on HeartGold.

• Arrived at Olivine City, where I grabbed the God Rod, and used it to hook Fishy the Chinchou.
• Trained up in the Lighthouse, then surfed over to Cianwood City, and on the way, Fishy evolved into Lanturn!
• Defeated Eusine pretty easily, then took on the gym. Chuck wasn't really a pushover but I dealt with him without much trouble.
• Got the Fly HM, then went to Mahagony Town and up to Lake of Rage, where I killed Gyarados.
• Lance showed up and invited me on a Team Rocket crushing mission, so I of course tagged along.
• Went back to the Olivine Gym and OHKOed all Jasmine's Pokémon with Fishsy's Surf.
• Then it was back to Pryce's gym, where both Okay and Banker evolved, then I defeated Pryce with them.
• The Team Rocket Radio Tower takeover commenced, and I quickly got through that no problem.
• Went to the Pokéathlon and won the Power Medal with Redact, Hacker, and Banker.
• Then I got myself a Shiny Stone from the ether and used it to evolve Cell into Togekiss!
• Went to Blackthorn City, and after beating all the trainers on the mountain road, defeated Clair at the gym.
• After getting the Rising Badge in Dragon's Den, I got the Masterball from Elm, then defeated the Kimono Girls in Ecruteak.
• Scaled the Bell Tower and Masterballed Ho-oh, then made my way to the Pokemon League, defeating Silver along the way.
• After some moveset editing and such, I took on the Elite Four. Claire was the only real tough one of the four.
• Lance was really tough since I was underleveled by 8-10 levels. I eventually prevailed with a liberal use of healing items, though.
• Back home, I got the S.S. Ticket and sailed to Kanto to complete the remainder of my tasks.
• First, I got the Super Rod, then flew back to the Dragon's Den to fish up a L40 Dratini.
• Started using him on various trainers to get him into a Dragonite, and eventually did just that!
• Then I caught Suicune with an Ultra Ball after several tries.
• My last task was to revive a Fossil, so I nabbed Aerodactyl in Pewter City, and the challenge is complete.

I'm going to put a quick update here. I started a bit belated because I had to figure out how to get both Lotad and Zangoose in one game and breeding a male Lapras took way too long.

The game feels like a solorun up to this point, as I've only used Patty yet (which made beating Roxanne really easy), but I just caught a Marill. The egg doesn't seem willing to hatch though.

Brawly is a piece of cake when you have a Victini...and a Bagon...and a Grovyle...let's face it, ORAS Brawly is not as difficult as RSE Brawly. Didn't take much effort. After realizing that the other half of my team wouldn't come til about 5 badges in, I caught Poisson the Goldeen to fill in until I can get that Finneon I wanted. Who knows? I might keep it for good. We'll see. After getting the lil fishie to catch up with everyone else, we took on Wattson...another failure compared to his RSE self. But what can ya do? Smashed some rocks and we're off to see what's going on at Mt. Chimney. Also I'm trying to bum rush this.​
