4th Gen A G/S Remake?

Nooo prob mr avalanche i mean icicle dance! Remeber its a serebiiforum members idea so yeah. Anyweh i thought all 3 reasons are good. Making all the pokemon availible to newcomers who havent heard of the gba(or dont even want to touch em). Releasing platinum before tgs gives nintendo a chance to whip something up(like a trailer) just to show its in the works is obviously what we all want(and E3 isnt the place for hardcore stuff so hell we might even see mario and the bunch with new games). And if it could raise sales for platinum by making gsds the game to get all the pokemon on one system generation then hell( i like the sound of"then hell" its really sophisticated to my ears) it could get kids to buy dses for that reason. So yeah nintendo if listening do us the favor and do something right. Get us a ds version of johto/kanto. I also have my reasons:
With platinum graphics for pokemon are shown to be stronger then we thought. Nintendo just isnt doing that. I mean this had flikering lights the balloon things on veilstone mall move the satilites moved the giant rings moved acually everything kinetic moved so think what good graphic style it can have. A touch screen pokegear is perfct no matter what. I just loved johto so thats my main reason. I need a full 2 regions in one game. Thats all im asking. If they do that then its goin to be better then the original(dare i say it? I sure as hell do). And the inclusion of so many evos for old pokemon would make the experience greater.

I fell in love with my new Platinum, kiss my Electivire too! I want them to make PT=DS/DG, not PT better than DS/DG.... I want new facilities...

Were past the DP hints. if you look into platinum closer there are even more hints(dog trio)

Thanks captain obvious.

We all ready knew all the hints that are in D/P. I really wish I knew the English script to Platinum.

Anyway. I wonder if Nintendo/ Game Freak monitors Pokemon forums. If they did, then they would know how much these games are wanted, and therefor would know much $ they would make.

Duh! We know that right? It's frustrating to see someone saying stop making GSC remakes and/or such things...

Are you refering the the 3 birds? The 3 beasts can't be catch in PT, unless you migrate them...

Duh .. that is the point You can ctach evry trio expect dogs so there gon na remake it :)

Couldn't you catch them in FR/LG though? =/

anyway, I would be so happy if they remade it! ^_^ I'm trying not to get my hopes too high though..

What I meant to say was that the only trio that you cannot legally obtain through Pokemon Platinum Unless you migrate them .

Which means that they will make the G/S/C remake so you can legally obtain htem this generation

They are gonna make it, but what's the feature of the new DS? They say DS/DG will be release for the new DS

Yes, but that's beside the point. (Also, you could only get one of them in FR/LG and in tough circumstances anyway - Colosseum however offered all three legendary dogs). For all legendary Pokemon bar the 4th generation ones were also available in 3rd generation, so one could argue there is little need for Nintendo to put any of them in Platinum.

Yet - now we have the Regi trio obtainable, and the Kanto birds obtainable in 4th gen games. The Johto legendary beast trio, however, are notably absent from any 4th gen game thus far. Coupled with all the other hints towards a GSC remake...

Of course - this still doesn't mean a GS remake will happen. Maybe the beasts (and Lugia//Ho-oh for that matter) would be obtainable in a different game altogether? Or it gets started and the porject canned after a while... :/ I'm however of the opinion that it will happen, abeilt there's nothing saying it WILL necessarily happen or not happen.

Probably would be a while yet as well if it does - now Nintendo will be trying to sell Platinum, then who knows. The didn't release multiple game near each other, rather try to milk each game separately, one at a time.

Off topic, did anyone else notice how they completely left the contests in platinum untouched, DP sprites and all. How lame.

No, because some of us less fortunate ones don't have the money to import a game.

I really wish they would change the cries on Pokemon. I am tired of hearing stack on the first gen pokes.
 
This is a big hint for GSDS being made.

There was a point in the creation of Platinum, where GF decided to put a roaming trio in Sinnoh.

Anyone who got R S or E (main 3rd gen games, who didnt get one o_O) has at least 1 of each regi, and anyone who's got one of the RB remakes or even the 2nd GC game has at least 1 of each bird, While the majority has got just one beast from that remake. The few people who bought the 1st GC game are the only ones that had the chance to get 1 of each beast.

Seeing that, this was the BEST opportunity to make the beast trio alot more common (except you are planning a GS remake). But the put birds in instead?


I think I know a reason why they could have decided to put the birds in:
In a GS remake they would include Kanto. Not the FRLG Kanto but the after 4 years Kanto. In GS' timeline (the same, DPP are in) the birds have dissappeared from their places, which changed in those 4 years (like how the power plant became an actual power plant with people working there), so maybe they flew to the north?

Anyone got some more ideas or somehting on that?

I demand they make a G/S remake now, they're somewhat crazy not to make one in my opinion
 
oh yes, i noticed in a video that on platinum, you get a togepi egg, just like in G/S/C.
Maybe another sign that there may be a G/S remake?
