So, like

you don't want House Targaryen to win

but you're helping them today?

I'm down with helping House Targaryen as long as they don't attempt to melt us anymore. :P

Plus, Yuli as former head wants all the fake Starks to die, 'cause they're not true Starks. I down with helping Yuli achieve that.

If there is a way to pledge to the Targaryens then please do so. :) We won't try to melt you

Now if only I was head of Targ....

You wanna know why I always hear people quote House Stark when they make references to GoT?

Because House Stark is the best obvs

My friend knows a bit about GoT, but for some reason she's never heard about House Targaryen

bc House Targaryen's is lame obvs

A MAESTER'S RIDDLE

The Maester sat at his desk, writing another set of letters. He had been given five new items to hand out to the group, but he couldn't share them amongst all of them.

A riddle!

He decided a riddle was the best way to give out the items.

The first person to answer the riddle correctly would receive the dagger, which would allow them to freely (and secretly) kill another player. The second to answer correctly would receive a suit of armor to protect them from any attempted assassination. The third would receive a vial of milk of the poppy, which they could slip into someone's drink, rendering them mute for an entire day phase. The fourth would receive a poison to slip into someone's food, killing them in two days (Day XIV). The fifth would be allowed direct contact with another player of their choosing.

He pondered for a moment, then decided on a riddle:

In a room there are three great men, all powerful men in their own right. A King, a Priest, and a Wealthy Banker. Between the three is a sellsword, a common man with no great mind or influence. Each of the great men bids him to kill the other two.

The King says, "Slay them for I am your lawful king."

The Priest says, "Slay them for I command you in the name of the gods."

The Wealthy Man says, "Slay them and I will make you rich."

Tell me, then, who is the most powerful man?

PM me your responses and be quick about it. Be confident in your answer though because answering incorrectly may yield poor results for you.

Is there a penalty if we don't answer or only a penalty if we answer incorrectly

EDIT: OH THIS WAS IN THE BOOKS I REMEMBER THIS

I think there's a penalty for both, but I'm not sure.

Ofc the event was posted right after I went to sleep, so I likely didn't get anything. And I think we all know what will happen if a Stark didn't get a hold of that dagger, lol.

There is a penalty for getting it wrong or ignoring it. There's a reward for answering correctly, even if you don't get the items.

When i get home, I'll check my PMs and appropriately distribute the gifts. The dagger can be used immediately if you receive it (meaning someone may be dead very soon).

Ullion, I really did not want to vote for you, but you chose that when you turned against me.

Kill Ullion

I'm trying my best not to make sides or anything and make this game even for each player/house/team. And that means House Stark needs to lose 1 player, then we all have choices to make on the next day (also pending on where the knife ends up).

As a heads up, if house Stark isn't kept under control, then they will win this game fairly easily just by heavier influence on votes. So if non-Starks vote out other non-Starks, they're simply shooting themselves in the foot. I mean, if we go into the next day with 4 Starks still around, and 1 less non-Stark, things may snowball out of control. :P

Saying that, I can totally see why Naku is voting me and I can't disagree with him. I'm a non-Stark (if that even makes sense?) and the only other one with a fair number of votes against him.

[kill] jade
it's out of love.

Thanks

At this point that's just as bad as voting for me

Nice to know that I can count on my fellow Starks

[kill] Lycanthropy.

If you two would actually think and vote for Ullion, he'd be lynched instead of me

If I die now, I'm holding you two personally responsible

THE DAY PHASE IS OVER.

The answer to the riddle was the sellsword. He holds all the power because he is allowed to make all the choices. The men are at his mercy as you are at mine. >:)

If you got the correct answer, your vote counts for 1.5 votes. If you got the answer wrong, your vote counts for .5 of a vote.

The phase change will be coming soon. During the night, you will be PM'd your item if you were one of the first five to get the answer correctly. You may use your items immediately.
