A NEW KING
Roose Bolton charged at Gendry, who blocked the swinging sword. The iron on steel clanged loudly.
"No bastard could rule this kingdom. And I am no bastard," said Roose.
"But you are a eunuch hiding behind the face of an even more evil man!" Gendry had his weapon raised. He chose cautiousness over strength, though he could display that as well.
Gendry swung at the head of his enemy, but he rolled out of the way.
"You're clever, boy, I'll give you that. But the spider's venom even kills the bull."
"The bull can crush the spider just as easily," replied Gendry, blocking another strike. He swung hard in a counter-strike, which cut deep into Roose Bolton's skin. His face was torn and his disguise slipped right off, though Varys hardly noticed.
Varys rushed at the young man, stabbing him deep in the thigh.
"You'll never have this throne. There is still another with a better claim than you."
"None live that could claim this throne!"
"What lies you tell yourself, little calf."
They swung back and forth, neither taking another strike, when guards burst into the room.
Varys whipped around and yelled, "Seize him now!"
The guards stopped. It was then that Varys realized his facade was gone.
He dropped the sword and ran. Many of the guards chased after him, but a lone guard dropped to his knees.
"You look just like him!" the guard yelled from under a helm.
"Who?" said Gendry.
"Renly!"
The soldier took off the helm and let it clatter to the floor.
Brienne of Tarth knelt before Gendry. He asked, "But...who are you?"
"I...I was Brienne of Tarth. I was dead. Stabbed to death in my own bed, or so they thought. Allies dead around me, sire. I had taken milk of the poppy however and it had numbed me to their blades. They hadn't done enough damage to kill me, but mortally wounded I still was. I escaped and have waited ever since. First...to find a chance to kill the first eunuch king. I had arranged the assassins that caused him to flee. Then I waited to see if someone of honor would claim the Throne.
I had only wanted to protect Renly, and then the Starks. They had honored me with trust and Renly had been fond of them. The true question is who are you that has his face?"
"I am Gendry. Bastard of the king."
"You...you must take the Throne. Quickly. There are none left who can dispute your rule. Take it and I shall protect you as I tried to protect Renly!"
Gendry dropped his sword. His bleeding thigh made him wince as he took step after step to climb to the Iron Throne.
But he finally reached it and sat down.
Brienne stood beside him as a crowd began flooding into the throne room.
"Presenting Gendry Baratheon, First of His Name, King of the Andals, Ruler of Westeros!"
The throngs of people gasped at the name, bowing immediately to the new king.
It seemed peace was finally possible. No major Houses remained. All were dead but this one bastard boy.
Gendry had taken the Iron Throne for the people.

Now he was aboard a ship sailing back towards Westeros.
Footsteps approached him from behind.
"Is everything ready, Lord Varys?" asked the young man next to him.
"Yes, my king. We shall land very close to the capital and capture their cities along the shore to establish ourselves."
Varys turned and smiled at Aegon Targaryen.
"Good. It's time we finally show ourselves to my kingdom."

I have to admit I'm surprised I lasted so long - no idea why people didn't gang up on me and lynch me in the last couple days. But eh, not complaining!
I chose Candy (Roose Bolton) to win but then she was replaced by Sun. I had the opportunity to converse with Sun and share what I had learnt and for him to do the same, but he was busy so I killed him off instead and took on his role :P tbh I'm just proud of the fact that I won while knowing absolutely nothing about GoT haha
And sorry you died NightKrow, you were a great and loyal wife :( (and a lot better in bed than Gunner) I was hoping things would end peacefully with you, myself, and Juno pledging her allegiance to the Boltons but peaceful and GoT don't really go together I guess.

My original house from the first game is back on the throne?
Love it, and eat it Starks.
But also House Greyjoy was filled with some banging people this game! It's a shame I died so early, there were a lot of mechanics that seemed super cool in this game.

Another awesome game Klippy!
Only annoyance I had (besides dying :p) was that everyone(slight exaggeration) decided they wanted to support the Starks. Temporary house alliances are one thing, but for players to forego their house and claim they want the Starks to win because "Starks" was a little bit of a buzzkill. It's fine for third party/non-loyal roles, but if you're in a house then fight for your team. (tbh the Stark house was announced shortly before I died so I didn't actually see how it played out but this is the impression I got before dying. If the Stark house rebirth didn't cause as much of a house allegiance disturbance as I felt then forget this post; but if it did then Klippy maybe take that into account that people might not play their roles properly if their "favorite character is in the game")

Btw I shot Ghost to save myself from dying because I was one of Arianna's lovers. I watched as everyone blamed Universe and decided to support the Starks to gain their trust (not that it lasted long anyway, as they wanted to vote for CB in the round after that, who I thought was Roose.)
Moral of the story: Don't trust CB, he isn't who you think he is. :P
