I've seen other forums do this before, not vB... but they've done it. See, what happens is let's say you selected the wrong option, but by the time you realized it, you had already hit the vote button... or let's say that you wanted to change your vote to a different option even. I think this would be kind of neat because it would make it easier. Is there any way this could be implemented, even if it's in that massive update the staffers keep going on and on about? :P

This would be super useful because I know from personal experience myself, I've voted for the wrong option and it absolutely bugged me that I couldn't change my vote.

    +1!

Good this is a great idea. I tend to think too fast, then I eventually change my mind, so I think this idea is actually pretty cool. There would have to be a limit I think. I'll say like umm.. 3 would be good.

I agree. Plus, it wouldn't detract from mod duties anyway and it can't be abused (which a lot of people seem to worry about with most features nowadays for some reason).

I second this. I do agree that you can ask mods to do mostly anything, but as said above... that kind of makes it hard because it take some time for the mod too. Like, it would take time out of their day and modly duties to have to do something so minor for a mere member, you know? That's why I figure if it's easier for us to do it ourselves and fix it.

Also, I agree on the limit. Maybe about 3 to 5 chances before you can't delete your vote. I like that that better than the time limit. The time limit would be tedious for some people. Like, if you have to wait five or ten minutes to change it? Some members like me have short attention spans, and it's really hard to follow time limits to things. I think a time limit would throw them off and eventually make them forget they wanted to change their vote... but that's just me.

I kinda agree that its an unnecessary inconvenience and less work for mods is great and all haha.
But i never knew you could ask a mod cause i actually have wanted to change my vote in a poll before cause i clicked the wrong thing haha.
But i kinda feel this is needed or atleast it would be useful to those who fail to press the right button! (Aka me)

There isn't a built-in function allowing members to delete or change poll votes that I know of, unfortunately. Polls are very outdated on the software we're currently running and may get an overhaul in the future (by our own coders) but the exact details haven't been ironed out yet. ]: So hang tight for now!
