5th Gen Adventures in Unova - RETURNS!

I want to join, please!
I want Tepig

Cheren or Bianca? Who do you enjoy the most and why? Did you enjoy battling against Cheren or Bianca in the games? Did you enjoy Cheren and Bianca more from pokemon Black and White, or the "future" Cheren and Bianca from White 2 and Black 2?
I enjoyed Bianca, Cheren was just annoying he kept coming at the least convenient times and wanted to battle me. While Bianca she was like "Hi there! Here have a Full Restore" Me: "Yay!"
Also I compared Bianca to Barry a lot, of course she is calmer since she IS a girl and Pokemon love making guy characters more um hyper, Bianca is clumsy in the anime tho don't remember how she behaved in game.

Welcome aboard~ For joining.. this is your first medal!

[PokeCommunity.com] Adventures in Unova - RETURNS!

First Step: A metal for newcomer trainers. A sign of the trainer's potential.

For doing the rival bonus challenge...
you gain another metal!

[PokeCommunity.com] Adventures in Unova - RETURNS!

Clash of the Rivals: A metal symbolizing the beginning clash of rivals. A start of fierce battling ahead.

My first thoughts regarding Ghetsis and N were that of intrigue. I thought their ideas were a good foundation for treating Pokemon correctly and working together with them rather than owning them and making them do what you want. What I didn't like was the idea that humans and Pokemon could never live together in peace that Ghetsis and N seemed to believe towards the end. I believe that Poemon don't need to be liberated to be equals with humans. All they need is mutual respect, much like how Ramos and honestly, James from TR, show to their Pokemon. When they the two respect each other and bond with each other through that, that is when the unknown potential is realized on both sides.

Like I said, their ideas were a good foundation or starting place but they took it into the wrong direction to reach their end goal of realizing Pokemon's potential and peace between humans and Pokemon.

Also I'd like to get a new Pokemon!

I'd like a Litleo! :)

[PokeCommunity.com] Adventures in Unova - RETURNS!

Litleo is now yours!
They set off on their own from their pride and live by themselves to become stronger. These hot-blooded Pokémon are quick to fight.

Oh but hold on!

For doing the first Plasma challenge, you get a bonus medal!

[PokeCommunity.com] Adventures in Unova - RETURNS!

For Liberation: A medal awarded to those who question Plasma's ideals of liberation.

Hey, we're in Accumula Town! Well, I have a couple of posts, so can I catch a new Pokémon?

I'd like a Ralts, please!

Do you enjoy the fact that you can add drums to Accumula Town's music? Do you like the music with, or without the drums?

I LOVE it. The fact that you can add different parts to the music is one of my favourite things about Gen V, and Accumula Town in particular is great to bop along to with the piano and drums.

What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"? Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong? Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly "equal" with humans?

This is an interesting moral dilemma, and I love that it was discussed in the games. Obviously, Ghetsis and Team Plasma screamed "Villains! We're the villains!" right from the start, but I could see where they were coming from. Knowing that Pokémon are sentient, sapient beings, is it fair to keep them in Poké Balls and order them around? Would Pokémon willingly stay with their trainers if given the choice?

But then we have to consider the idea of co-evolution; the scientific theory of different species evolving together for mutual benefit. With this in mind, and remembering the story in Canalave library about humans and Pokémon once being like one, it makes one wonder. In short: it makes sense to want to protect Pokémon from cruel trainers who mistreat them, but what of the Pokémon who are friends with their trainers? Is it fair to separate them, too? And how can we ever know for sure?

Do you enjoy the fact that you can add drums to Accumula Town's music? Do you like the music with, or without the drums?

I found the addition of other instruments to the background music like Accumula Town's was a pleasant addition to the games.
I like Accumula Town's music better with the drums but the original is still enjoyable.

What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"? Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong? Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly "equal" with humans?

Team Plasma's ideals were something I thought was very thought-provoking for the Pokemon games. On the one hand, they made sense but on the other, it seems drastic especially for a world that is dependent and favors Pokemon trainers. It made me more interested in playing Black and White to the end.
Their ideals were too extreme for the world they were in. Trying to make Pokemon free wouldn't work when they have developed such a symbiotic relationship to humans.
The best thing Team Plasma could have sought for was allowing Pokemon more choice in their relationship with humans but not cut them off completely.
Therefore, I think Pokemon shouldn't be liberated from humans.

Do you enjoy the fact that you can add drums to Accumula Town's music? Do you like the music with, or without the drums?

It is a nice touch, like the other additional instruments you can add to other music tracks in the game. But I do prefer Accumula Town's theme better without drums.

What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"? Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong? Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly "equal" with humans?

Like Vsich, I was mainly intrigued when I first read up Team Plasma's story, but as for what I thought about N's plot for Pokemon liberation I do kinda find it in the wrong because when you look at the Pokemon universe the humans and Pokemon work together and that's why a lot of games like to show the increasing bond between you, the trainer and their Pokemon. Pokemon don't need to be liberated to be equal to humans, as far as I'm concerned though.

And anyways, two posts for another Pokemon. I'd like Ralts please!

I had forgotten that you can add the drums to Accumula's BGM. Usually what I think of in regards to the instrument additions is Village Bridge, where you can add several and some vocals, and it makes the music pretty nice.

Woooo, great activity guys! Updates below:

What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"? Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong? Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly "equal" with humans?

I was immediately skeptical of the fact that they themselves "enslave" Pokemon in order to accomplish their supposed goal of liberating them. Always be suspicious of anyone who doesn't follow the ideals they try to foist onto others. But, I think there's value in the fact that some of them thought they were doing the right thing, I'm sure. Maybe some people joined Team Plasma because their heart was in the right place and they truly thought Pokemon should be liberated from their trainers.

In the end though, Pokemon should only be separated from their trainers if they truly aren't happy being subservient to their trainers and, as it turns out, in the Pokemon world all Pokemon are happy with their trainers and they view their trainers more as companions than masters. So it wasn't the right thing to do.

I'll try this out :) I pick Oshawott <3 I'd love Mareep when I get two posts :D
And for the bonus question: Cheren or Bianca? Who do you enjoy the most and why? Did you enjoy battling against Cheren or Bianca in the games? Did you enjoy Cheren and Bianca more from pokemon Black and White, or the "future" Cheren and Bianca from White 2 and Black 2?
I enjoyed battleing with Cheren but enjoyed Bianca's cheerful personality more. I perfer the original BW versions myself :)

Any music is fine with me, but I prefer it with drums. I still like the neat little trick behind it though.

I find this part to be very interesting compared with the previous Pokemon games, considering that it made a theme about the idea of Pokemon in Pokeballs since we did it very often for Pokemon games. Still, personally I think they're wrong unless that Pokemon trainers treat their Pokemon really badly, but I don't think that Pokemon should be liberated from humans just to be equal considering the amazing relationship between trainers and Pokemon. A good example is the relationship between a Team Plasma grunt with his Patrat, which is shown in N's Castle in Pokemon Black/White and Team Plasma safehouse in Driftveil City in Pokemon Black 2/White 2, and I'm very sure that it's the same Team Plasma grunt for these two scenes.

EDIT: One Ralts please.

We might have another chance to catch a Riolu at some point, but right now, you can only get a pokemon from scenario two. So no, not right now.

A)Do you enjoy the fact that you can add drums to Accumula Town's music? Do you like the music with, or without the drums?

I like music with drum so much , do u ever listen . Drums are one of my favourite instrument , if I have power I gonna put music of drums in every song and other instruments.

What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"? Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong? Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly"equal" with humans?

I really don't know what to say about it. Pokémon are trainer's friend but some trainer's also treat them as slaves or only for their power. If we take the fact that many trainer has a unbreakable bond with their pokemon . But still will pokemon like to hurt one of their kind just think about it.

Oshawott used water gun

desinishon used pokeball...
Gotcha!! Pidgey was caught

To be honest I didn't even know about this, as I play my games with the sound off during 98% of the game except during key events, ending, ect. Have to look into that now :D
What did you first initially think about Team Plasma's ideals of "Liberation"?
Partially a decent idea, as there have to be trainers who neglect or mistreat their Pokemon, I don't think most Pokemon -want- to be set free and would come back anyway - Pokeball or not.
Do you think that Team Plasma and N's ideals of Pokemon Liberation were in the right, or in the wrong?
I still think N was misleaded thinking it was a good thing for the Pokemon, but Plasma's agenda was way out of line.
Should Pokemon be liberated from humans for them to be truly "equal" with humans?
If a Pokemon wanted to run away, I beleive they would once out of the Pokeball. Remember, most of then can probably outrun a normal person :P
