Agree or Disagree (2.0)

Along with a great multitude of other things that can do that as well.....
Anyway agreed, it doesn't have to, but it definitely can.

Variety is the spice of life.

This is tough, because I think it really depends on the individual. I know that for me, if I'm pressured to do something, I will be more likely not to want to do it because I'm stubborn and typically rebellious. As for many others, I've seen plenty of people give in to pressure from others and do something. This is a good thing if it was something they could do that was good for them, but unfortunately this isn't always the case. Just because you worded it as 'most definitely' and it's more split than something that mostly happens, I'll say disagree. *Yoda's voice* Much over-thought, that one was... XD

Aside from those that are allergic, everyone would benefit from having a (non-human) animal in their family.

Yes, I whole-heartedly agree. Pets can bring a lot of love affection and fun into your lives. They help keep you active and on our feet. Being able to care for something that needs you is a good trait that having pets asks you to develop also, and it's rewarding to watch them grow. They are very beautiful and diverse, some can protect their people and perform valuable, even life-saving services. Pets also teach us about the natural cycle of life. I write this as someone who has lived with dogs, cats, fish and rabbit.

You consider yourself to be more introverted than extroverted.

Trying to paradox me, huh...
Then for the sake of keeping the universe safe and not having it implode due to creating a paradox I shall do neither.... 😏
You can thank me for saving the world, I guess =D

It's better to have a single good friend than many bad ones.

Agreed, but if some friends are 'bad' by how they treat you, I would argue that they aren't actually friends at all. While it may not be possible for friends to always uplift each other due to what they may be dealing with in their own lives, I would think that the fact that they try to do good for each other is part of what makes them friends. If someone treats another like crap, brings them down, and or just uses them, this is not a friend.

If any type III civilizations
Spoiler:
exist in the Milky Way galaxy, they are aware of Earth and humanity.

If so, we are probably like some cute little ant farm to them... XD

Even if I doubt any type 2 and type 3 civilisations exist, if one does exist, I agree, they are probably aware of us, just as we are aware of, say, bacteria or bugs ^^

Type 2 and Type 3 civilisations don't exist. (See the post above for definition :P)

I mean, if any other civilization existed then they'd probably have similar problems like us. There's a good chance they ceased to exist long before they even could come up with a way to make it through space. Agree.

The main party being in prison while the one remaining member sitting in a giant Gardevoir shaped mech blasting through waves of enemies with a massive energy beam for fun and EXP while a silly little adventure music plays in the background is a totally normal dream to have.

I was wondering if someone would give me that answer. Congrats, you fell right into my trap! :P

It can be, but it's not like it has to be and that success isn't possible without it... or that failure will always lead to success. I'll disagree.
Involuntarily recalls never finishing Super Meat Boy due to being way too hard =\

Edit: Got sniped while trying to come up with a statement again... 🙄

Depends on the person imo. Let's just say people are too adept at willfully ignoring anything that inconveniences them =P

Megan actually wanted to end the universe when she made that paradox statement. 😱 😇

Football is too popular.

Whew, didn't expect something so strong to comment on! I categorically disagree - as much as there has been some very crazy stuff they've been getting away with, if they got away with truly everything they wanted then we'd be in a much more awful spot of bother than we are right now.

Extreme cold is better than extreme heat!

(For reference, I am not meaning absolute hot vs. absolute zero, just like hot country vs. cold country)

Agree, but it's harder as most people can't seem to be able to put their feelings aside.

Free softwares are generally unpleasant to use compared to paying softwares. (E.g. OpenOffice VS Microsoft Office)

Most of the time, yeah. I do like myself some free software, though. What they lack in UX they usually make up in variety. A lot of software exists in so many variations. Like the sheer amount of free text editors. It gives you a lot of options to experiment.

Don't believe Microsoft when they're saying "this is the last OS we'll be creating".

I doesn't have to be a Microsoft OS, but there should be something on it. Lots of people like their computers, phones etc to be plug and play without having to fuss over installing an OS. Also the initial setup often already takes long enough to use up the average person's patience =P

Apple products are overpriced.
