PROTECT PRINCESS BUBBLEGUM​


NIGHT 1​


Princess Bubblegum stood at the town square of the kingdom, her people had been alerted of the dangers that lurked during the night, and are advised to refrain from leaving their residents at night. She motioned the crowd to the big white board beside her and ordered a guard to click a button beside it and in no time, a video began to play.

It broadcasted the Banana Guard's barracks, around midnight a penguin waddled into the room and snuck into a Banana Guard uniform. The princess paused the video and said, "People of the Candy Kingdom, as you can see from the video, Gunter the penguin sent by the Ice King, has infiltrated the kingdom and is now disguised as our own. I have no choice but to institute a rule in this time of crisis!" She began to explain. "This new law states that, you, the citizens of the kingdom is allowed to pick one guard to cast off into the guillotine of judgement!" She pointed towards an old apparatus of execution. "Let the voting begin!"

Everything hinges on what that citizens do at noon, and once done it can never be undone. All were confused on who to vote for, but in the end they settled for Fantome. The other guards dragged him towards the device and propped his head towards an arc, "Do the honors princess,"

Silence fell with the sickening speed of a guillotine. The blood flowed freely from Fantome's body to a collective pool of scarlet. He was the real deal, and they just got rid of their own.

After a blisteringly hot day the sun had finally set, the relief from the hot moistureless air was palpable as the cooling sea breeze swept over them. As the tedious day sluggishly came to an end, the time to unwind the tenseness and rigidness of their fragile bones. But the danger is not yet eliminated, and tonight, Gunter will strike again.​

DAY 2 [Epilogue]​


The light of the day had long since ebbed and dwindled to nothing, now as midnight marched steadily toward the Candy Kingdom, the air was cooler and damper than it had been. In the sweet rain-washed darkness the sounds of the night became loud, even the rustling of the leaves and the whisper of the wind was thunderous. But even in the absolute blackness of that midnight the Banana Guards continued on their patrol for the elusive assassin.

A shadow entered Princess Bubblegum's room, hidden from the Banana Guard's prying eyes, Gunter approached the princess ever so slowly. A orb of cyan emitted from the avian creature's forehead, and in a white flash, a cage made of ice was molded by Gunter. He opened the cage door and lifted the still sleeping princess into the confines of his icy creation.

He peered into the window, climbed on the ledge and flew away carrying the large cage which held Ullion. Bardothren smirked, he had been successful, he had found his master a new wife!​

He was Princess Bubblegum.​

Final Words​


Well, that's the end of Protect Princess Bubblegum! The Banana Guards have failed to protect Ullion. When I interviewed Bardothren about how he deduced that Ullion has the princess he said, "Fantome made an interesting comment yesterday when BidoofFTW voted for him. It was the whole penguin meme thing, but I'd like to implicate BidoofFTW. My plan is to vote for players with only one vote on them for a few days, then use the pattern to my advantage to trick one of the smarter players."

I would personally would like to thank our amazing UG mods, Netto and Ash whom allowed me to bypass the game queue to host my first Mafia game ever! So thanks a bunch guys! And to all the players, who joined the game, thank you for taking part in the first AitP game. That reminds me! I'd also like to thank Jade for introducing us to this Mafia variant! Thank you so much!​
