What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you?
I actually have one to share. lol
Shortly before the COVID-19 lockdowns in my location, when home alone for the weekend and hungry with nothing to cook, I ordered a pizza from my city's local pizzeria. After waiting on the pizza for a while, I realized that the delivery was taking longer than usual. Curious, I called the pizzeria and respectfully asked about the status of my delivery. The lady on the phone then informed me that the driver, the only driver working that night on the weekend because of other drivers going home sick, had several orders to deliver, but also stated that the cook made a mistake with my order, resulting in my pizza having to be remade. Because of the number of pending deliveries and the fact that my pizza had to be redone, she informed me that delivery could potentially take about 45 minutes to an hour. Being as I try to live up to my name as much as humanly possible, I said, "No worries," and decided then would be the perfect time to shower before eating my pizza and heading to bed soon. However, while I was in the shower for about 20 minutes or so, I vaguely heard the doorbell and my dog barking out of control. I figured that my pizza must have arrived early, so I exited the shower, threw on a towel with the shower still running so I could return to it shortly after, answered the door, and, sure enough, it was the delivery driver.
He said that since he already picked up my redone order, he decided to delivery my pizza to me first since I called about it and also said he didn't mean to disturb my shower. I told him that it was fine and thanked him for giving my order priority. When he gave me the receipt to sign, while I was signing it, my dog, still acting out of control and barking, got his paws in the towel and completely ripped it off my body, affording the pizzaman a very close and clear eyeful. It was super humiliating. I naturally closed the door quickly and ended up chasing my dog for a second to get my towel back from under his paw. I got my towel shortly after and wrapped up, only to realize then that I had the livingroom blinds up about halfway and the driver was looking at me through the window the entire time I was chasing my dog around. I went back to give him his copy of the receipt that I signed, got my pizza, and said, "Let's pretend that you didn't see what you saw," and he thought it was the funniest thing ever. He commented that it was the first time he ever saw something like that on the job. I learned, from now on, never answer the door in just a towel no matter the circumstance, especially when you have highly energetic pets in the house that go crazy when someone knocks or rings the doorbell.
Do you think video game graphics can still improve, or are we nearing the peak of what we can see?
I believe they can still improve. I've seen mods of what next gen graphics could potential look like. Eventually, video games are, one day, going to be almost indistinguishable in the (near or far) future.
What was your first ever job?
