You mean, like a pandemic? Really depends on what we consider a natural disaster. Like early last year we were completely caught off guard by a huge wave of cold and it took two weeks until all was back to normal.

Granted, I've never been in a life threatening situation caused by some natural occurance.

Not quite what I had in mind. I mostly met stuff like Hurricanes, Earthquakes, etc.

To answer, yes. I had a summer job at a old 'haunted' slave plantation. I was left alone outside fairly often. Never had any experiences despite so much talk of the place.
