Arrange the 22 Starters (Sun & Moon Starters included) in order of most favourite to least favourite!

Coming back to Sun & Moon Starters, I think some more details about Sun & Moon were supposed to be released on April 15th, including info on the Starters. Well its 17th today, so does anyone know of any details yet?

It's a graceful seal that does lots of fun bubble stuff. Not as appealing in design compared to the other SM starters, though.

Speed Boost. It's also a connotational hot chick.
Protean. You need Protean for a healthy body.
5. Pikachu
Both of its designs are cute. Also it's cool. Slightly overrated though.
3.-4. Chespin and Snivy
Bulletproof and Contrary are great abilities.
2. Rowlet
Look into its eyes.
1. Litten
It's adorable, it's a cat, it spits fireballs instead of hairballs, and it has OIL COVERING ITS FUR.

Made an update to my original list, with the Alola starters bolded. Aside from dropping Froakie down the list a little bit, everything else remains unchanged.

It's hard for me to accurately rank the new starters, since all we really know about them are their designs, and primary typings. Knowing their evolutions would be nice as well, since that's what helped a few Pokemon like Pipup and Snivy place high on my list. So while I've ranked Popplio at 19 right now, it's the one I could see rise up the most once we find out more details about the line.
 
I did my list based on the Pokemon overall, not just the initial forms. As such, I left out the Alola starters. I'll comment at the end.

Unsurprisingly, with Water and Dark being my favorite types, four of the six Water starters are in my top five and Froakie's my #1. 10-15 were hard to rank because I like them all about the same and are mostly interchangeable. I'm still going back and forth about whether I should put Mudkip further up the list.


Really, the Unova starters are the only ones I actually dislike. I do feel kind of bad, though, for putting Tepig in last place (it's so cute!), but Pignite and Emboar are just the worst.


As for the Alola starters, my tentative ranking is: Litten, Rowlet, Popplio. That could easily change, though. Aside from the clown-like aspects of Popplio, I think all three are off to a good start and I'm optimistic about their evolutions.

However I decided to also exclude Snivy, since of all of them he's the only one I've never used. Also, least fav=/=don't like.

And Water is still my first choice. My preference for the gens in terms of starters goes like this: 4>3>6>2>1>5.

If I were you, I'd consider using Squirtle in a future nuzrun. Maybe it'll grow on you too.
 
I don't really consider Pikachu a "legitimate" starter despite Pokémon Yellow, because he doesn't really fit that position from a stereotypical perspective (not one of the three starter types; second-stage Pokémon; no choice involved), but I always hated that he wouldn't let me feed him Thunder Stones. :(
