How to outwit Syn. Maybe we should just ignore the riddle tomorrow, although I bet someone would send in an answer even if we agreed.
 
Won't that just hand him the win if nobody gets the riddle right?
 
Yall are more focused on a third party with a side-win than the actual threatening factions...what has this become.

Idk. Answering the riddles correctly doesn't seem to be "outwitting" him, so not even trying seems like an option - his abilities and win condition are secret, so he could be throwing in some white lies. Maybe he only wins if people guess incorrectly, not if they don't guess.

N I G H T -E I G H T​


A lone doof stood on top of a small building nearby the courthouse, watching over the streets below. He had been charged with a mission to kill, and he was ready. Equipped with a Rocket Propelled Bidoof Launcher, all he had to do was wait for the right targets. After mere minutes of waiting, three targets lined themselves up for the kill while walking to the courthouse to see the execution. The doof aimed the RPB directly at the one in the middle of the group and fired. A bidoof flew through the air towards it's target, thirsty for blood.
"NO!! WATCH OUT!" The loyal follower, [tier=t2]Shak[/tier], ran up to the Gothamite in the middle, and shoved him out of the way of the Bidoof, taking the full onslaught of teeth. The person he was protecting had been knocked unconscious from the push, but otherwise he was okay. The Bidoof then moved on to the two adjacent Gothamites, injuring them gravely, then the poor pokemon ran off. It knew they wouldn't last long. The doof on the rooftop dropped the weapon and ran down the stairs, hoping he could escape before any help arrived.

Aeternum looked over the dead body of his brother, seething with a poetic anger. Who would sing his songs now? There had to be revenge. He stood directly across from the front door, and aimed a revolver at it. When the poor doof opened the door, the barrel of a gun was pressed to his forehead. Aeternum cocked the hammer of the revolver.
"Tweedledie, you home-wrecking bitch" Were the last words Superjolt heard as Aeternum fired the revolver, killing Superjolt instantly. Aeternum then shoved the barrel in his mouth and fired, killing himself as well. He would be with [tier=t2]Shak[/tier] again in the afterlife.

The Joker stood from his position at the bench, it was time to kill again, and this time, the chosen one to be executed did not even respond. He was completely silent, but not because he was forced to be that way. The Joker quickly whipped out his silver revolver and shot [tier=t2]Spartacus[/tier] in the head.

The Riddler laughed maniacally. After five instances of outsmarting the town, it was time to claim victory. He had a small case full of his prized possessions, five Riddler Trophies. If only the town had thought to collect five of their own...
"To think such an inferior being such as Patrat could've been the last of my successes. Oh well! A win's a win... I think I'll be sticking around in the city of Gotham, however. This town could use a brilliant mind such as myself!"

And so, with four dead bodies, two bleeding Gothamites, a winner, and one Gothamite that was forcibly exiled out of the city, night fell upon Gotham yet again. Hopefully bringing some action this time.​

  • For executions, if there would be a tie, RNG will break the tie.
  • Unless you are a Defender of Gotham, a member of the Court of Owls, or a member of the League of Assassins, you are not allowed to PM anyone but the GM
  • If you are a member of one of the aforementioned groups, you will only be allowed to discuss the game with your fellow group members in the appropriate Skype chat which will be supervised and created by Golgari
  • All Battle for Gotham discussion should be kept here
  • If you are DEAD, you are DEAD. Don't haunt the thread with your posts
  • However, if someone dies, or gets lynched, they get to give ONE deadpost, that doesn't give any information about the game
  • Getting caught posting during the night phase will automatically kill you
  • Night actions should be sent to the appropriate GM by PM

Well, I'm getting caught up in work and other things for the next 30ish hours, and will be unable to change the phase until I'm done with that, I've spoken with Klippy about the situation and the day phase will be up as soon as I possibly can change it.

[tier=t3]Ice Goddess[/tier] hadn't even decided to do anything tonight, but Robin felt the need to join Batman for tonight's arrest. The duo began with Robin throwing a swift punch to the face, blocking [tier=t3]Ice Goddess[/tier]. Batman then went in for the arrest, securing [tier=t3]Ice Goddess[/tier] and stopping a huge threat for a certain hat-donning fellow. At this point, the crime-fighting team was becoming the strongest of them all. The villains would have to work together to take them down.

In another part of town, Man-Bat's transformation was becoming normal again, and Dr. Kirk emerged yet again, he was getting sick of ruining all of his outfits... The Gothamites were dwindling rapidly, with the night over again, who knows what developments the day would bring?​

Does anyone have ANY info? :( Kinda just lost at this point.

Though I'd wager Rozureido, GreyBidoof, Ash, Fun Size, GlendleYoung, and kid are not Batman/Robin given they all missed participating this phase.

That leaves us with me, Juno, Mana, desinishon, JohnnyMustang, Draskk, Archy, jdthebud, and Ketsueki as potential Bat-allies.
