This may not be the right place to ask this, but this being the daily chit-chat, I'm sure anything pretty much goes.
What different tiers of competitive battle are there?
(Ubers, OU, UU, NU, NFE, baby, monocolor, monotype, mix-tier, ect.)
And where can I find a detailed description on the rules to each of these? Thanks.

Ubers - Pokemon that are banned from OU due to being too overpowered.
OU - Pokemon that are used more than UU, the "standard" metagame.
UU - Pokemon not used enough for OU.
NU - Used less than UU
NFE - just pokemon that are simply unevolved, unless they are in UU/NU (i.e. Scyther, Chansey)

all the other stuff is made up by wifiers and isn't real.

Oh, I didn't know BL had a metagame now. [/sarcasm]

That's probably why he left it out. lol He did, however, forget LC (Little Cup) which utilizes level 5 first stage pokemon that don't have evolutions. :P Probably the most fast-paced metagame that almost completely relies on priority moves and speed.
 
I can't enter tourneys with only five lvl 100s... darn. Must train up my last one. Any tips on quick training besides mindlessly battling virtual trainers?

You could try the quick battle thread but most of the people here who battle, battle by tiers with standard rules or on Smogon...with standard rules. Basically, there is much for you to learn, young grasshopper, before you can challenge most here.
 
I've already learnt about EV training! I feel like Pokemon is becoming a degree subject with all these different things to learn.

While on the grasshopper subject, I'm surprised there hasn't been a Pokemon based on one! That'd be quite cool.
 
First, I found out what EV is, then IV, IV-breeding, breeding for flawless pokemon and shinies. And then i suddenly find out that something called "Pokesav" exists., and yesterday i found out that something called RNG exists! and i was like, omg!? - are you kidding me !! I thought it was okay, as soon as i found out that those who r using it dosen't spend hours breeding IV's, natures etc which other peoble does.

Competitive batteling are really complicated, if you really want to be good, right? :S
 
Battled a rain dance team on wifi for the first time in a while.

I don't see why people complain about them so much. Bold cmcune with hp electric swept lol.
 
ok looking for a single 6v6 lv 100 standard rules
hopeing to battle a newer member cause im useing a brand new team
