Haii What do u guys think of this new battle facility?
Also, How do I manage to fight the known trainers rather than random ones?

Battle tree seem alright kinda tough I have to say.

As for battling trainer like red wally and so on, I guess you have to completed the normal mode ( 20 win strike) so you unlocke the super mode and trainer like Cynthia colress grimsley appear at each 10 battles! :)

So I can only battle each one of 'em after 10 battles? ://
    And they show up randomally?

I havent gotten very far in the battle tree, im not very good it seems. I fought red after i got to 20 on single battle, but i havent made it past 15 wins on the super single. I've only gotten to 17 wins on regular double. So at least u get to fight red at 20 on the first single battle. This gens red is weak sauce.

Yup! I did fight Colress for my 10 th match in super single battle, but didn't go that far so i don't know if they are random but I go for a yes which is unfortunate since I actually love the idea of having different trainer from other regions, but It is just tedious to get somewhere in battle tree, like sometime you get easy battle and other time battlethan make you want to punch someone! haha

ya, that whole going in to battle against uknown pokes that might just consist of all mons, that; counter your team, is a pain in the patute.

I think it's alright I just wish that the AI would stop spamming the usual Hypnosis and Toxic and fight fair for once I don't want NPC's who spam the same Move over and over until they win.

Just managed to defeat Red in normal singles after stopping my Aprimon quest.

The team I used, for battle 1-20 was:

    LEAD
    Ninetales @ Light Clay
    Snow Warning
    Timid
    252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    - Freeze-Dry
    - Moonblast
    - Aurora Veil
    - Encore

    Greninja @ Life Orb
    Battle Bond
    Naive (although Timid is better)
    252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    - Water Shuriken
    - Dark Pulse
    - Surf
    - Ice Beam

    Araquanid @ Waterium-Z
    Water Bubble
    Brave
    248 HP/ 252 Atk/ 8 SpD
    - Liquidation
    - Leech Life
    - Poison Jab
    - Sleep Talk

Ninetales was pretty good as a lead, Aurora Veil was amazing and whenever they tried to set up, Encore was an easy switch into Greninja or Araquanid. Moonblast and Freeze Dry were alright, bit weak from Ninetales but Freeze Dry came in useful against Gyarados.

Greninja did what Greninja did. Protean was missed, as was Low Kick, but essentially a Mega Evo is a Mega Evo.

Araquanid...oh my, severely underrated. Water Bubble Hydro Vortex KO'd almost anything that was neutral, except for a Muk that had Stockpiled once. Sleep Talk and Brave were necessary for Sleep Status and Trick Room respectively. But I must make Dewpider babies in Moon Balls.

In truth I barely played the Battle Maison as fighting randoms trainers endlessly did not appeal to me.

In the Battle Tree though having the opportunity to fight known trainers is a genuinely nice touch. 10 or so known trainers isn't a patch on the PWT which is for mestill by some distance the most fun post game activity in the series but it is what it is.

I beat the Singles Normal mode with a team of:

    - Jolly Garchomp with Garchompite
    - Adamant Buzzwole with Life Orb
    - Marla the Careful Shiny Midday Lycanroc with Rockium Z.

Garchomp and Lycanroc were EVed, Buzzwole isn't because I don't know where to put his EVs.

Having a Mega and an Ultra Beast on the same team might be cheating a little but given how the AI aren't above using evasion hax and the like it's all good.

Red was surprisingly easy. Buzzwole took out his whole team.

Super Singles is solid enough. My highest streak is 25 with the above team.

It is frustrating that the AI can use Megas unavailable to us in Gen 7 such as Wally having a Mega Altaria l, even when Bank hits I will be unable to use my favourite Mega Gardevoir. :(

I have yet to clear normal Singles =(

I mean part of it is laziness because I don't really feel like breeding or EV training much in Sun/Moon cuz it was better in ORAS and we still have to wait for Bank

but like why is it actually trying, it's not supposed to do that until you get to the Super lines

just lemme sweep everything with Pheromosa =(

Beat Singles yesterday and I have to say, it feels a lot more bs than gen 6's facility. Got screwed a couple times right in the very first battle, but at some point finally managed to get a run going. Almost lost to Red's Lapras though, because hitting yourself in confusion three times in a row is a thing.

In Super Singles I lost somewhere during battle 13-14, forgot what made me lose, though.

The team I've been using consists of Mega-Mence, Ribombee and Metagross.

    Maybe I should start catching the Ultra Beasts, so I can make that place a little bit easier for me. {XD}

Really Really Broken. I really don't like battle facilities like these and this certainly didn't change my mind on anything about them. If you don't get what I mean, type in Mechabob in the trainer search and you'll know what I mean :P

The Battle Tree is the most broken thing ever, some of trainers there are just plain evil, many of them rely in dirty tricks to bring you down and prolong the battle forever, and most of the time it works for them because the RNG loves to be against you. The Battle Maison was already hard enough, but this time around the AI wants you dead.
I also find it quite unfair how the challengers can use Megas AND LEGENDARIES, yesterday I was on my 42nd battle (longest I've been able to keep it) and SURPRISE, IS A TEAM ENTIRELLY MADE OUT OF LEGENDARIES :)

I've aleady done all normal modes but the super ones just become impossible once you go over 30-40, Gamefreak really doesn't want us to get that ribbon.

I can't wait to try out the Battle Tree. I enjoy playing Doubles- is that an available mode?

Yup! You can either go in by yourself, with another human, or the computer (including past characters like Cynthia, Wally, etc) :)

Been doing Singles myself. I'm on a streak of 25 at the moment in Super Singles.

Managed to beat the Normal Multi Battle using Lilligant and Mega Garchomp. I was teamed with Anabel who used Entei (Legendary it may be but being an AI it used some very strange moves at times) and Lucario.

My Lilligant had Leaf Storm and a White Herb which helped fell opponents. Sleep Powder had an annoying habit of missing though.

Very pleased to get a Battle Ribbon on Lilligant. :) With it being fully evolved Pokemon from the start in the Battle Tree even on Normal Mode it seems much harder than the Maison.
