I used to have a dislike for hot drinks, but now I really enjoy them :3

I love waking up first thing in the morning and having a hot cup of coffee and a cigarette to get my day started :)

Slurpees are one of the best cold drinks.I kind of feel bad for people who live in other countries besides America who don't have them or never heard of them. :(

Slurpees exist in Australia because 7-Eleven is over there, and in Canada as well :)

But yeah, those things are literally the best thing ever.

Slurpees are amazing. Frosties are better

By the way, am I the only one who puts pepper in tea?

I put a lot of sugar in my tea haha

I like shakes much, but since i cannot get my favorite flavor anymore i dont drink them as much anymore :(

Yes sugar. I love sugar and caffeine!!1!1

My favorite cold drinks are probably those big slurpees at the gas station. During the summer I get one of those sometimes and I'm set for the day.

I love hat AND cold drinks. Like a cup of coffee (Yes I drink coffee) or a slushy. I also like Frappes, that is the drink I always get with my McDonald's meal. They're SO GOOD!

Don't you mean breaks down worse than sugar? The energy that comes out of sugar is from when it's being broken down. I'd imagine artificial sweeteners largely comes out of your system the same way it went in.

We have 7-eleven but no slurpees ;.; And they're delicious. I would have them every day since I live two blocks away from a 7-eleven.

That was an interesting read. I'd do some research myself but I'm rather distracted right now, but do you know if that study also used a group of rats given sugar?

Hmm, is Sweet-n-low any different? Because I actually really despise Splenda

It looks like it is, in that it wouldn't have the same impact. Splenda uses sucralose, maltodextrin (a modified form of starch; essentially a glucose polymer) and glucose while Sweet-n-low uses saccharin which, while I don't know what is is, doesn't appear to cause adverse effects in humans at a first glance and dextrose, which is a marketing trick to make you think that you're not consuming glucose (which is what dextrose is). So the only difference I see there is sucralose vs saccharin, the latter of which seems to be better.
