It only stripped font, size, bold, underline, italic, and color tags... when it actually worked. CSS tags weren't affected.

Grrr, because my forum skin somehow changed itself yesterday and I don't know how to change it, that dark green now looks weird on the dark background, and as it appears yellow-green is almost invisible to people who apparently have other forum skins...

well I guess I can't please everyone

I've had that happen so often haha. Some of the text in my sig is black, but since the new PC background change it's practically invisible...

I would like to make my font pink, because I love pink and it would look really good with this background. But alas, who knows how long this background will last, and pink would probably be a real eyesore on any background besides this one xD

I used to format my posts as green when I was more of a lurker back in 2011/2012, but there was a plugin that allowed for it to be automatically done. It got disabled in like late 2012 or so, but when I became more active in 2013, I formatted my posts in orange for about 2 months, and since then I've just been using the normal formatting.

Trebuchet MS and Tahoma are close seconds though, for web fonts anyway. In Word I'm a nut for Cambria and despise Calibri :P

You can always use css to make sure your colour is readable. :3

For monospace fonts used in coding, I've always preferred Consolas with Lucida Console as second. I guess I think Courier New is… I dunno, overused?

Hmmm, I've tried out a lot of styles and this color seems to look pretty good on all the ones I tried. I hope it's not bothering anyone, otherwise I can stop o.o I've just always colored my text in every forum I've visited, it adds a personal touch to my posts. I've gotten the extreme habit of typing color tags before and after my posts too.
