This is truly my last Samsung device. I love my phone but how they lock bootloaders so tightly that they can't be opened and the horrible look of touchwiz has turned me off. Motorola please.

It's about 500 bucks unsubsidized. They had a sale on black Friday that made it only 349. You can also do zero interest financing, but at 18 I doubt you've credit lol.

I was pre-approved for an American Express credit card a week ago. My mom was jealous because she wanted one. I'm saying no to credit cards unless I really need one, but that was a nice offer though.

I got a credit card the minute I had a stable enough income to afford one. Building credit is important in the world we live in today, and that's the only reason I wanted one.

I use cash and debit card for almost all my purchases. As for my credit card, it just sits there in my purse collecting dust. I rarely use it.

Credit cards are a financial death trap when used impulsively. I'd always reserve a card that indebts me with each purchase for emergencies only.

Debit and cash are better, as you're actually spending your own money, which means no interest as you're not borrowing money and paying at the end of the month. In a sense, credit cards are a profit means through interest for the banks.

And then there's those kinds of people who go out and spend the money they already don't have on things they don't need. As one old comedian would say, "they end up maxing out their credit cards, and spend the rest of their lives paying 15% interest on something that cost $12.50. And they didn't like it when they got it home anyway." -_- Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Sorry to derail the topic, but I had an interesting night. We were heading to my friends car when some girls stopped us to give us some cake. Turns out one of em had their birthday, and they didn't want anymore, so they gave it to us. Then they asked us where The Pub(actual name of the place) is, and so they wouldn't get lost we went with em. Turns out they were as generous as they seemed, and we got free beers from the birthday girl, and made some friends. Still kinda happy with this awesome surprise.

I almost always use American Express. It's a charge card not a credit card so I have to pay it off every month in full. Also AmEx has an awesome rewards program. I've already gotten a Kindle Fire free and dozens of dollars off of other stuff on Amazon since I've had the card. I do use a debit card too cuase the downside of using AmEx is they don't take it at some places.

People, we're seriously still talking about phones and credit cards after someone said something like this? Wow, you must really love your phones.

Well, I was originally asleep for three hours, but my mom woke me up with a cup of coffee so she could tell me some more earth-shattering news. Apparently my dad isn't happy that I know my uncle killed himself. :(

I really hope you're ok. Is the earth shattering news that your uncle killed himself, or that your dad isn't happy you know about it?
