Cos butt has a lot of smart heads. Lol, sorry, I had to.
Not sure what you mean, like which Pokemon we liked best as a headbutter?
I only taught my Arbok a headbutt, in Crystal, and never really used it, I felt sorry for poor Pokemon that asleep and attacked all of the sudden. xD

Really like Heracross, personally. I've encountered it once while headbutting this one tree, and caught it immediately. They're pretty hard to find, you know? Aside from that, I also like Shroomish. :]

Heracross is my standout favourite considering its competitive prowess. Plus, I've used Heracross before and it was a beast! :D

Swellow for me. Easily my favorite bird Pokemon and has served me well both ingame and competitively.

I thought this thread was gonna be about Girafarig.

To be honest, I only remember using Heracross. Most of the time I just got a few Hoothoots and Aipoms, nothing that really interested me. dat heracross tho m8

Loved it and used it for the rest of HG/SS. Was such a beast and I loved using it every step of the way. 8)

Heracross all the way. I never could find the darn thing, but I've heard from many that it's worth it and hope to god I come across the patience required to find one one day. xD

Heracross is just such a BAMF :) You'd swear from the confidence I have in it that I'd ever actually used it :P It's so cool, once you get over that x4 weak to flying...

I'd like to use a Pineco/Forretress at some stage though.

Out of that list, heracross was definitely my favorite in HeartGold and SoulSilver! Not only was he a powerful fighter but I also liked his aesthetics (not the mega evolution form, ew). He was hard to capture, but was worth it. One a couple of my playthroughs I'e used him to plow through the E4 because he is a really helpful Pokemon. He also tended to do really well in 4th.gen and 5th. gen OU competitive battling. My second favorite would have to be aipom! He's a fast monkey, that was good as a lead on my team. I just love the little guy; the concept of him was just great. I mean, look at my avatar!

Aipom is a cutie, and I made a habit of catching it every time one showed up. Compiled a box full of Aipoms, haha. The only pokemon I actually used in-game from that list is Heracross, for obvious reasons. Unique typing, and a scary attack stat. Just to add on to that, Headbutt as a move is really useful towards the beginning of the game thanks to its above average BP and STAB for normal types. :]

Being unoriginal and saying Heracross because dang he's really useful. Was my (expected) hero from a Bug monotype run of the game as well.

Indeed! As soon as I can, I try and teach it to everything that can learn it in my party.

Yeah, I would say heracross would be the best pokemon to go, with is bug and fighting combinations, he can give some trouble to opponents.

Right when I started the game I decided I was going to use a Heracross in my team. I caught a Drowzee near the DayCare centre, levelled it to 15, and used Headbutt on some of the trees near Azaelea Town.

I didn't realise at first that the Move Tutor in Ilex Forest could teach the move to unlimited Pokemon which is why I caught the Drowzee.

I'll be joining the bbandwagon and say Heracross because he's just that awesome :P
His great typing with his awesome attack stat just makes you wanna go ram through every trainer's Pokemon team while singing Wrecking Ball.

Aipom because I remember as a kid headbutting trees in Gold and finding an Aipom for the first time. I thought it was the coolest pokemon ever and use it non stop. Aipom brings back good memories for me.

Using Headbutt in HGSS was fun. There were quite a few nice things I came across, including Pineco and Heracross, the latter of which I used in my main HG play. Pineco and Forretress are good since they have lots of resistances and monstrous Defense, along with some good support moves.

My favourite was Headbutting for Taillow in Cherrygrove City - I finished the Johto section of HGSS with one team of Pokémon and then brought the Taillow with me to Kanto :)
