Challenge 3 discussion

I was at school all day, so i wasnt able to help:(

I'm more annoyed at the fact that most of these challenges are based on the appearance of the Team Representative, as their team's success relies on them being constantly online. I wish more challenges just had a fixed time period where everyone could submit their own responses, or the challenges themselves had a designated time period so participants can actually prepare and make arrangements so they can actually participate in the competition.

Yeah it kinda sucks :'( Even with the best communication, whoever is on, when the challenge is assigned, has an upper hand. So we have to sooo happen to be here.

I don't think posting it first is the real challenge. I have a very good idea, of what we are about to do, and I hope I'm right :)
Let's hear it lol. what do you think the challenge is about?

I'm interested to know why the numbers of all the Pokemon are different for each team.

To be honest this is where the "rip our hair out part comes in" , ofc the challenge won't be easy but something's like equal playing grounds where time zones don't play a big part should also be taken into consideration.

Its a little game called Mafia. The whole point of the game is for your team to win. So here is how it works. There are 3 phases: Night Phase, Day Phase, Voting Phase. Depending on your role, tells what you can and can't do. Some people can kill(eliminate) other players during the night, or you can only kill during the day. There's also people who distrscts others from doing their night task, and even some who can reveal other player's roles. So you get it, there are different roles. The crappoest roles are the "villagers", in our case Patrats, who can only vote during the voting phase, and nothing else. Well, let me explain the phases:

Night Phase: If you do a night action, this is the time to do it. Usually during this time people are eliminated and so on and so forth.

Day Phase: If you have an action, you do during the day, this is where you do it. Also, the members discuss what happened during the night, and collaborates on who is the baddie.

Voting Phase: The members collaborate and vote off someone, who they feel is suspicious. But its best to choose wisely. Whoever has the most votes, are removed from the game.

A winner is decided once your team meets their objective, or one or members are the last ones standing.

It's likely that this would be the case, for survivors may have been dying off too slowly for Dave. This game would ensure the loss of several players. Should a challenge like this arise, we must discuss carefully and keep losses to a minimum.

Excellent thinking. I'll be looking forward to more of this skill in future challenges.

Yeah probably. But if that's true, this challenge guarntees that only a few members will be left. So maybe the winner gets immunity, while the worse players are poisoned, or automatically eliminated.

Maybe it's because I'm really thick headed, but I don't really see the comparison of this challenge with Mafia lol

Its mainly the connections between this and roles. We were all assigned roles. Usually, the better the roles the less people can be assigned it. That's why, there are 8 Patrats, because their roles probably suck. Amd the whole thing about teams.

So are you saying that this challenge will lead up to a future Mafia challenge?

One game of Mafia takes a pretty long time, it'd be hard to squeeze in the phases and eliminations in like a one or two day period though.

Yeah, and thats my only concern. Maybe some tweaked rules, so that phases don't end unless EVERYONE goes.

Then again, Antemortem has been cited in saying that the game will be going past the final day of GT, so it wouldn't surprise me if this was an option.

But if this were to be an individual challenge, I think those are only to last a couple days max.

Don't know why I'm arguing lol, it's a very plausible idea.

The GT will be running much longer than the GT. Also, I'm very sure this won't be Mafia because we know everyone's role. The most important part of Mafia is not knowing what roles the others have.

I will not win with posting times and that's because if I have a set time to post it, people will complain about having to work or sleep during that time. There'll always be conflicts. As well, requesting that things be done on an individual basis defeats the purpose of teams. Once there are no teams, however, individual challenges will begin. But at this time, you must work as a team to complete team challenges and as such the leader is responsible for completing entries.

Hiya guys~
Just woke up not too long ago and it seems I've missed the challenge. Once again. -_-

But I do have a question: Is it still okay to post an elite four team?
