Sora just participated in Challeggs. She usually pops up for events.

Yeah I drag mac in here whenever I can, lol. Usually he needs the excuse of completing a game with a new OT though, so he's not really here regularly. :(

I have gotten some new people in here from time to time though, like Twiggy. Helps that half my time in #tradecorner is spent talking about challenges lmao!

Your successor will be lucky that there's at least you still around, so they won't have to be as lonely as you haha!

I realized my successor will be both lucky and unlucky. They'll have me as back up for opinions and such (plus for things that need to be brought up to hstaff, it helps to have someone knowledgeable!), we can plan events together and since we'd both have mod powers in here, we could handle the sign ups together, and when they go out of town irl, I can check this forum for them and know how it works. When I leave for trips or take a break, I come back to mass chaos because no one on higher staff knows what this little ditty in the forum is about. When I came back from London, this place was an absolute nightmare. I had about 10 challenges waiting for approval (which now is a bit typical, but at that time, that was a LOT) and a ton of PMs like "wheres my chalnege?!?!?!?!?" and UGHHHH. The other forums? Tidy and clean, as if I was still there.

BUT THEN. Successor also has to deal with me all up their butt to make sure this place stays in tip top shape. I'll always be hovering. They'll have like 95% reign of Challenges. Or 80%. :P Okay, I won't be THAT bad.

The pros really outweigh the cons though, so they'll be more lucky than unlucky really. They'll have it easier than me.

I remember the old Monotype thread when it finally was combined into one Ultimate thread was kind of co-managed by Zam who oversaw the "Ultimate" portion, and Myrrhman, who oversaw the solo monotypes. But that was kind of unusual - was Myrrhman like waiting for it to be posted so he could pounce on that second post? How did that happen, anyway?

The one time I messed up, okay! Shhhhh! ;3

I forgive you Syddy! haha It's fine.

And Syd the successor would be lucky to have you hovering over them!

That's pretty much how it works for co-owned trade shops so I would guess it's the same in their case. I personally don't see any real reason for dual ownership of a challenge though. There's no real way to split the workload in most scenarios.

That's what I was thinking. I had it really easy in Trade Corner. Even though I have staff powers there now, when I didn't, Cordelia made me the thread owner of our joint shop and since he had staff powers in there, we were both able to edit the OP, similar to how an event would work if there was a new mod in here and they also had me. We could easily split the work on the updates and such because we both have the power to edit in here. But members without that can't do that, and I don't exactly know what you'd split in a co-owned challenge. Challenger list and champion list? That's all I can think of. :(

Sooo, mama Syd! I wanted to make a challenge that was based on the Oh My GOD challenge but with a lot of differences and addition to the challenge. But the concept is based on Greek mythology which we already have a challenge for that. Am I allowed to make the challenge or will it ressemble too much to the Greek myth Challenge?

What we really need is a challenge based on Norse Mythology. :3

I agree with everyone about Norse Mythology. :) Just focus on that, I'd say. I think rolling up every mythology would be a bit confusing and taxing anyway haha. Now we're all counting on you to follow up. You have everyone excited. :P

Yes, I finally had the time to put up the Index. It's not the final version, though. I plan on making it look much nicer and having a small description for the challenges as well. The Reservation post will be added later as well. :) Rejoice!

I hope so! And it will help prevent duplicates (though that doesn't happen too often). I think the descriptions I'll add later will help a lot as well. By the way, for anyone that is a challenge owner, it would be a ton of help if you could come up with a small description for your challenge and PM it to me. It doesn't have to be soon, but it would really help if I didn't have to come up with all of them, especially for challenges that are a bit difficult to explain. If I'm really hard pressed for a description, I'll probably just PM whoever owns it lol.
