Honestly I don't remember why this war even started, things have been dragging for so long, but at the basis of things they couldn't have been talked over. Zeref wants to be killed, Natsu's gonna be the one to kill him; his people won't stand for it, the other Guilds won't stand for it...

So before I go into stuff, I just need to mention how surprised I was that Gray didn't hold back even after he figured out that Natsu is END, I mean I guess this fight was bound to happen but I didn't think it'd go this way. Anyways, this obviously sets up for Gray vs Natsu. Another thing I think is a possibility is Eileen vs Mavis. Finally, I'm speculating that we'll be having some action from Larcade since the next chapter is called Trump-Card, and I get the "last-resort" vibes from Larcade since Zeref said he was strong enough to beat Acnologia, who I also think will be returning soon. In that sense, I feel like Larcade is a lot like Garp in One Piece, because he definitely also seems like a "last-resort" for the Marines. Anyways, I'm overall pretty happy with this chapter and can't wait for next week!

A little off-topic, but I watched the RWBY Volume 4 preview that just came out and it was literally the same thing that was at RTX. I'm still very hyped though and am counting down the days until October 23rd. Also, I think the new graphics look amazing!

I feel like Zeref is currently his original self trapped within a shell. Like he really doesn't want things to be the way they are, but he has to do this because either way people around him will die of his curse.

To be fair, he was doing it for the purpose of reviving his family. Can't blame him much for that, I feel bad for Zeref. His whole life is total s***.
